They come up often. Usually bundled with the system. Kinda sucks for me, cuz all I need is the CD player and base attachment, I have the system.
Every time I bid on one, someone outbids me by a few bucks.
It's ridiculous how expensive TG/16 systems are... used even! You can get a SEGA+CD+32X and a Saturn and a Dreamcast (all of them together) for less than a TG/16+CD most of the time.
Your very first post and it's a link to an auction? Yeah, no coincidence there ;>_>
If only we had a place where people could post their auctions. Hmmmm...
TG16 CD systems do cost stupid money. Might as well go all out and get a RGB modded Duo, IMO.

I would own an original TG16 and CD along with the Turbo Booster and Multi-tap if it all didn't cost so much more than anything else out there. I tried to settle on a regular Japanese DUO, and two dead CD-ROM drives later I ended up with a DUO/R. If the market on unmodded Turbo hardware drops out, I'll be the first to grab the original stuff.
That CD add on looks ugly as hell! And why are these machines so damn expensive now?
Yeah I was going to get a TG-16/CD combo, but the CD is damn expensive. Not only that, the US Super System card is around $100 by itself. Also I heard those old CD players can be pretty unreliable. I just went the TG-16 and PC Engine Duo-R route.
