Genesis What are the most violent Genesis games?

What I remember most about the Nintendo vs Sega period is that the Genesis games where more violent and bad-ass.

What would be, in your opinion, the most brutal Genesis games out there?

For one, MORTAL KOMBAT for sure!

Disney's Aladdin. You're slaughtering palace guards left and right.

Aside from the MKs, Primal Rage and Eternal Champions (I have to make an assumption there; I've only played the Sega CD version) would be pretty blatant choices.

Also, Robocop vs. Terminator is, at least to me, surprisingly gruesome. Granted the movie counterparts are pretty violent as a rule, but I wasn't expecting that from a game I flashed to my MD-Pro on a whim.

Now, seriously: Eternal Champions had its share of bloody fatalities, but I'll stick with the MK saga. There was also that shitty game with HUGE sprites: Sword of Sodan. I tried it recently and man it sucks bad. But for its time, it had a lot of gore as well...

I remember back when it came out it got alot of negative press. One main reason that I remember was Chaos' Piss Fatality. Also agree with RvT. Put the Real Game code in and it get's interesting!

    The immortal was pretty gruesome.

Id put Robocop vs terminator quite high up the list; splatter house.

I have to say that Splatterhouse would definitely be a game of my taste. Although... it's pretty expensive. Not bellow $40 on ebay... There is only 2 and 3 on the Genesis, the first was released on arcade an turbogrfx16.

That was on the SNES (and looked far better). I'll have to say that the cart version of EC is really gory, more so than Mortal Kombat

It doesn't get any more violent than that.

    Doom Troopers
    Splatterhouse 2 and 3
    The Immortal
    Primal Rage
    All of the MK titles

These are pretty much the goriest games you'll see on the system.

I don't play old stuff for nostalgia, I play old stuff because the games are better.

Eternal Champions CD (with it's sometimes awful pallete) is the most bloody game I have seen on 16-bit console. It even feels like game is made only from
    those finishing moves.
Also, Batman Returns good ending was quite unexpected. Sure its not bloody in any kind, but still...creepy.
