Got a hold of this Taiwanese made Songa II MD/Genesis clone system....Its almost exactly the same as the Aito/Scorpion clone with just a minor differences here and there, one beign the different upper shell design...Although when put side by side they do look very much alike, same size, and with the same built-in region switches mechanisms as well , just like the Aito/Scorpion...
According to some sources, this model came with 2- 6 button wireless infrared remote controllers..It has controller ports for wired controllers too...My system has what appears to be a built-in infrared window port, but I haven't check for any wireless hardware within the board neither I happen to have the wireless controllers....
It features the region switches known as the "Universal Cartridge System" for all of the different configuration settings (MD/Genesis/PAL/NTSC), RF output, Audio/Video jacks, front stereo phone jack with volume slider, power On/Off/Reset button, and of course the important blast processing....Another Megadrive/Genesis Super Clone, beautifully done..

Any chance of a pic of the guts? Especially the built in IR reciever, very intriguing. I wonder if you could play 4 player games without a 4 way adapter - 2 IR pads and 2 plugged?

I don't think that would be the case. More then likely it doesn't does have a multitab built in, the IR just translates into port 1 and port 2 wireless. Though if this were true it would be SWEEEEET!

Compatibility wise, its great...Plays just about any game having the built-in region switches...And most importantly, it is compatible with all of the pirate Megadrive/Genesis games
...
