Hah, and they didn't even have to use a 6-button controller! Sega rules!

    SNES d pad better? Right

No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.

The SNES was far better at having a sloppy d-pad.

Should have used 6 button Gen pad 3 button is obsolete. Stands no chance vs. Snes controller

I still prefer the Programpads made by STD/Interact. They made a version for both the Gen and the SNES. Have both of em hooked up to their respective systems now. I like the little LCD screen that lights up what button you are pressing, and the ability to program macros in the controls.

I even got the STD/Interact controller they made for the 3do when the system I bought from the forums here comes in. Its not a programpad, but uses the same button layout so I can have a 6 button 3do pad.

they both have thier flaws for one i hated the l and r buttons on the snes

and the 6 button incompatable games were lame too

aftermarket controllers added so much flavor

i prefered the nes/snes dpad and i'm pretty much sega all the way

the mastersystem pad that made it hard to not hit diagonals

i have a hard time finding a controller i dont hate in some way i'm really digging my wireless "Go" brand lately though followed closely by my naki pad that does gen/snes

make sure and visit my album

I find the SNES controller less comfortable but more responsive.

The genesis's D-pad is much more precise and feels more fluid, it should of won that part.
Overall looks like this might be a good new series, I was dissapointed there wasn't more episodes to watch
