Default Sunic & Knuckles (the Genesis game) recreated in 3D

Sadly it's just a video, but I must say, it looks pretty nice:

    I'd play that...

    Looks very nice!

but something's terribly wrong with Sonic... He looks awful.
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.

Then we set about developing killer games.

Since his last few games have sucked he's been hitting the drugs pretty hard and it's taking a physical toll on him.

Yeah its a shame that once Sonic goes 3D they all base him on the skinny crack user with the dangling arms design.

I wish they'd make a model of Classic Sonic sometime, the actual blue tubby hedgehog who just ran very fast,
    not this myspace reject.

This shit looks awesome! YTF can't Sega wakeup and do something like this rather than repackage the same games.

I think that'd be exactly what "repacking the same game" translates to literally, but yeah I absolutely get what you mean. Wouldn't hurt if they were to do something like that with a couple of classics. Although I think I'd prefer bitmap graphics.

Awesome!!! I'd definitely play that. However the Sonic Model looks a little weird. Especially his arms.

That level always seemed like it need more color (more fall colors).

Millions of colors at their disposal and its still got the same pale brown/green.

The graphics and animation weren't that great (looks like early dreamcast, maybe), but it looked like it would play just like S&K. Impressive in any case.

Whatever anyone's suggesting, it won't ever happen because Sonic fans find a reason to complain about EVERY. LITTLE. THING. I'm not even trolling or flaming, I see this at virtually every video game message board/site I go to. Good lord. The old Sonic is dead. The old guard at Sonic Team is gone. Sonic has, and always will be targeted towards the kiddies......we're no longer in that target demo. Sega simply hasn't made as successful of a post 16-Bit jump with Sonic as Nintendo has with Mario, partly because the old guard at Nintendo (Miyamoto and co.) are still there after all of these years.

    Deal with it!
