    Default Batman and Robin owns

I just can't state it enough.

I couldn't sleep and played it with the Model I stereo volume up. now I'm tired

This game is terrific. The music really sets the crazy dark mood, some level never end. awesome. extraordinary. reminds me of the movie, the Dark Knight. Your are a batman.

my favorite is boss is the magician. The music totally maddens you.

The hardest part for me is killing the electrified paper stuff. Again the musical score there makes you scream.

at the very very top with Alien Soldier.

This game reminds me of Gunstar Heroes.

It's a good game, but the difficulty brings it down for me a lot. Takes away a lot of the fun when you have to do the same thing over and over. I also don't like that both A and C act as "attack" buttons instead of "throw" and "punch". That makes it a bit more awkward than it needs to be.

    I give it a 7/10 overall.

100% agree. Although I'd probably give it a 6/10 if not for the awesome soundtrack which is one of the best I have ever heard for any game. It's just too damn hard, and some levels are ridiculously long.

Adventures of Batman and Robin is fun and awesome up until level 2-2. That level is too long, boring and hard, so my adventure ends there.

In my opinion it's the most impressive game of the 16 bit era.I cant think of many games that are this great on all fronts. It's one of my most played Genesis games.

    Less talk more action!

for the naysayers here is some tips:

only use A and B buttons. You don't need any other

    For the difficulty.

2-2 is a piece of cake when played right.

You have to kill the boss in 2-1 with a maxed out Green Weapon. He is super easy with that weapon. Then you cruise through 2-2 easy. Just keep your finger pressed on FIRE button.

If you find 2-2 hard, wait till you tell in the level 3 lol you will get value for your time. Level 4 is relatively easy.

joshvox.. the levels are not too long. they are just right for their purpose. This is not just a game, it is art that fleshes you out. . You are supposed to be drained out, just like Batman himself fighting all those villains.

EDIT: the boss in 2-2 is epic as well and not so easy. I mean after going through this huge ship, you still have to beat that chopter with again an exclusive awesome soundtrack. Chopter is easy if you are green at max, otherwise it becomes hard. Green Weapon is mostly the best in all situations. except in the first 1-1 and 1-2

Don't get me wrong, I love the game. The reason I would give it a lower score than some other games is simply because of the difficulty and no other reason. Some of the levels are too long, and in addition to the difficulty it makes this game nearly impossible for me. Can't imagine anyone actually beating this game without cheating--although I'm sure some hardcore gamers have.

From what little I remember from playing this previously, it does seem to drag at points. My brother and I were doing okay but he basically said "no more" at what was most likely 2-2. The music is definitely neat but I'm not sure it's appropriate for a Batman game, maybe for Batman Beyond.

If Batman Returns for SNES had co-op (although I guess it'd have to be double Batmans with the lack of Robin) then that would be my favorite Batman brawler. So I definitely give this game points for including co-op, I don't think there was a good multiplayer Batman game before this one (but if I'm forgetting one let me know).

Why do people praise this game ? The music is great yes but Batman is not supposed to be a shooter. Throwing batarangs over and over is not what Batman does, he punches and kicks. Thats why I cant rate this highly.

I don't mind batarangs being relegated to sub-stages like in Batman Retuns(snes), but I don't like having the entire game focused around projectile attacks.

If you judged superhero games based on how conservative they are with what they actually do in the comics, you'd probably have a hard time enjoying any of them. Batman & Robin has both melee and batarang combat, just like the Sunsoft NES game.

I don't find the game to be all that difficult, you get plenty of opportunities to restock your health unlike Gunstar Heroes. Sometimes you even get health during boss fights. What really brings the game down from being truly magnificent is the pacing, most of the levels are too drawn out and become repetitive.
