Shadow Squadron - The Complete Playthrough

I've been scrounging around Youtube, and while I've seen a lot of videos talking about Shadow Squadron, there really aren't any that make a serious attempt at playing it.
I've decided to fix that, by creating a full play through of the game from start to finish, even including a few deaths here and there!

This will be a fun romp through nostalgia lane and hopefully this will help some people make some more sense out of how to actually beat the game.



This is the first video, I go into detail on the options screen, color selection, and the object viewer. I play through Mission 1, and I make a plug for my PC remake. (Volunteers for Alpha Testing are welcome!)



Part 2, including missions 2 & 3! Wrecking the wreck of the wreck.

Once I beat this game and saw the replay cut off I knew what I had to do. Not only did I keep playing it until I saw my complete replay, but I focused on making my ship do as many impossible flips and loops and destroyed as many capital ships in one pass as possible. This game is_awesome!

Its a really fun game. I havent played it too much yet but I really enjoy it....think I made it to level 4 last time I played.

It has been years since I've played it. After I found this thread I thought I'd see how my skill were. I haven't made it past level four yet. I intend to get back to where I was and post a video of the replay at least. It seems that I need the Sega brand six button joystick to even get close.

Was looking for a video that showed Mission 5. There's a ship I can't figure out how to damage. Where's the rest of the videos for that "Complete Walktrhough" video set?

If it's the large blue (?) ship with the open hole in the mid section you have to fly through it and blast the core towards the back.

thx ...that was my personal best to date

while i was playing the Stellar Assault (J) version i noticed it has 3 modes of play... easy, normal , and hard.

i did snap a save state right at the replay TRACE option so you guys could see the full game with the Feather 2 ship, but even at only 127kb its still too big to upload here

Alright, so I finally made it to mission 6. How do you take out that cannon? I can't seem to damage it.
