Default WTB third party SMS converter

    Hi everyone!

I'm looking to purchase a third party SMS converter so I can play Master System titles on my X'eye. The X'eye is my main Genesis unit, so being able to play on that would prevent me from having to switch out systems.

I'm looking for a converter that's similar to the SMS Converter II where I can just plug it straight in the top of the system. I would entertain buying a SMS Converter II, but I was hoping to pay slightly less for a third party equivalent.

I have paypal ready to go. Feel free to let me know what you have and what you're looking to get for it.

You could always buy a Model 1 PBC and chip away plastic, could end up being cheaper, if not, try this shop: http://tinyurl.com/2flwxa6

I thought about chopping up a model one, but it would really hurt the overall aesthetics of the X'Eye.

I appreciate the link. I'm not crazy about the bare pcb hanging out the top like that (the others I've seen were much cleaner), but it's certainly a start. If I can't find something I'll likely pick one of these up.

    Thanks again!

In the meantime I'd still be interested in picking up a converter off a member here. If anyone has one don't be shy.

You essentially saw off the back of the powerbase converter. Here's a link I found after a quick search:

It works just fine, and you get the added bonus of being able to play cards still. The only downsize is the fact that it looks like absolute shit.
