So you got a PAL SCART cable for an NTSC SNES console. Doesn't work because of the different pin out. Buy a RGB-SCART cable for GameCube.
Do me (and yourself) a favor and turn down sharpness all the way to 0.
Then deactivate all other video filters and adjust the coloration, contrast and brightness until you think it looks good.
You don't need these boxes anyway. You live in Europe so any HDTV you have access to should accept RGB-SCART out of the box.
