All I have to say about this is Awesome. Why couldn't AT Games use this emulation system instead of the crap they put in the Firecore?

Ugh... you've gotta be kidding, and I sure hope this a sarcastic remark because THIS pile of crap MegaDrive 2 clone runs on the EXACT SAME HARDWARE that the AtGames systems use, that same horrible emulator running on the same Titan ARM core. Chuck this thing in the garbage, it's an abomination of the MegaDrive. It may not be made by AtGames, but some other unknown clone manufacturer has gotten their hands on that rotten technology.

Do yourself a favor and get rid of the circuitry in there at the very least. Get a Genesis 2 or MegaDrive 2 with a nasty-looking case, put its motherboard in that case and replace the pushbutton with a switch. I'm sorry, this kind of hardware is pure garbage no matter who makes it.

Someone needs to step up and tell AtGames directly(and other clone manufacturers if possible) that we will not put up with their shitty hardware. In fact, I encourage EVERYONE to destroy the AtGames garbage and anything related to it. Screw this crap, I'm going back to my modified Genesis 3.

mi idea es instalar una placa madre de genesis 3 (va1 si es mejor) no quiero poner una placa de genesis 2 porque seria estupido desaprovechar la expancion que tiene para mega cd =S (me refiero a que no tiene tapa para la salida de expancion)

Looks like a Genesis 2 bare board could fit (without the metal shielding of course ) , and you can always replace the power on/off switch with a sliding one...Too bad the plastic shell doesn't have a proper exp. port connector, but again, you can probably improvise...

dc laneta, if you really want to install a GenIII motherboard in there, you'll have to re-wire the AV/power/controllers' ports and the reset and power buttons.

(And yes, I understood you don't want to use a GenII, because it would be a waste of the EXT port, which your console case doesn't have an opening for it)

Stop wasting the time, and mod any genesis (one, 2 or model 3) so it uses svideo. You will never go back to these kind of cheap clones.

put a genesis 2 it would fit perfectly, and yes, it tricked my uncle and it got scared when he saw the videos about atgames clones (Sound being one, crashes and sprite glitches being more severe).
Putting a genesis 3 is not very wise, a complicates thing.
And remember here on mexico model 2 are very common, you can mess up with them with no guilt at all, but with model 1 HDG it feels bad.

Why bother with S-Video when you can do RGB SCART without modifying the system at all? You just need to get an RGB to YUV convertor if you live in the US.
