Truth is I'm using the results in this poll to determine the rankings in a top 100 genesis games list, the games in this poll are the cream of the crop, and will comprise my top 10(well most of them, the games with the least votes, most likely musha and gunstar heroes, will be carried over to the next poll and pitted against some of the more popular second tier games in order to get a general idea about what my top 20-25 should look like.)

Voted for Sonic 2--although I'd also have no problem voting for Shinobi 3. Haven't played a few of these games either. I'd vote for Revenge of Shinboi over any of the games in this list that I have played.

I'm going to say Thunder Force IV. As a big fan of Shoot-em-Ups, it doesn't get any better on the Genesis than Thunder Force IV.
