Amazon goes out of the way to protect the buyer. I've sold plenty of things on Amazon and it always scares me to send off my item to a "just launched" buyer. Luckily, i havent had a problem.
Amazon actually gives the buyer 30 days to file a claim. You could buy a legit item, use it, and tell amazon you want to return it and from i understand, you can.
I'll be Damned!!! My boy came through!!!
Got it in the mail yesterday:
Model 1 hdg Genesis (the one with the expansion port in the back) with a power supply and rf
model 2 Sega cd w/ all metal plates, and the expansion plate for the model 1, as well as a power supply. No av cables or the mixing cable.
a 32x with the metal brackets for the genesis cartridge port, and a red and yellow(??white??) rca cable that is compatible with the 32x(as well as model 2/3 Genesis I'm assuming) but without either a power supply, or the patch cable.
sonic cd
2 3 button controllers.
Even with the cables missing I'm very excited about what I got. Everything works great(??32x??) and I think for 58$ I got a great deal.

I don't play old stuff for nostalgia, I play old stuff because the games are better.

Congrats on your model 1 HDG Genesis and SCD! The red+yellow RCA cables are mono RCA cables used with the mono only model 3. They also fit into a model 2, 32X, X'eye and CDX but will output 1 channel out of two (= not even full mono) with those.
A similar cable like this (with red+yellow plug only) also exists for your model 1 Genesis which outputs mono from the AV port (= compatible to Master System cables), and stereo from the headphone port.
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.
Then we set about developing killer games.

Not sure I would have paid $15 for that mess
