Revenge of Shinboi doesn't count , but while playing it I was just wondering if they ever have made a decent Godzilla game on any system. I remember there were a few released for Dreamcast, but I never picked them up--I had a Godzilla game for NES, but it was AWFUL.

I personally always liked the 3D fighting games for Xbox/PS2/Gamecube/Wii

    Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee

    Godzilla: Save the Earth

    Godzilla: Unleashed

Cool--the godzilla game I had for NES was like a strategy game--this looks better.

Neovamp--those games look pretty good--don't have any of those systems unfortunately.

There's a Godzilla fighting game that came out to the US for TurboDuo CD. Yeah, it's obscure, but I'm surprised he missed it when he went as far as to look at a Japanese only release (snes IIRC). Though, the Japanese PC-Engine CD version is better, since you can actually unlock all the different Godzilla playable sprites/characters and such (stripped from the US release because they removed the bonus stages or something).

He's not quite Godzilla, but there's a Japanese Gamera game on the PS1 that's really good... it's kind of like Panzer Dragoon with a giant turtle.

Also, I actually kind of liked the Dreamcast Godzilla games, even though they were a little slow.

Basically a handheld King of the Monsters but without any wrestling-like elements and with Godzilla characters. Apparently the later Japanese release has a couple of tweaks (Godzilla, MechaGodzilla and Mothra have different color palettes and there are a couple of new modes)

A friend of mine has Unleashed and he kinda likes it. I think they look pretty cool, but I've never played them

    @InfraMan
I've heard and seen that Gamera game, and it does look pretty cool

Accolade should have made Barkley vs. Godzilla instead of Barkley Shut Up and Jam!.

If they had licensed the NBA Jam engine I'd have bought that game!

King Of The Monster 1 and 2. Not really Godzilla, but good enough.

Hey! I liked the Millennium series (1999-2004)

Though they would have been much better if they would have realized that its the crappy human storylines that always ruin the movie.

Like that one with MechaGodzilla where the kid is talking to it like its alive, OH KIRYUU!!! I LOVE YOU KIRYUUU!!!

or Final Wars with all the Emo Matrix aliens with emo hair and eye makeup.

oh who am i kidding, those movies sucked.. No wonder the American version added a stupid storyline,
they just wanted to do the same thing.

but still, the Millenium movies are fun if you only watch it for the monster fights.

No good Godzilla movies? Seriously? There are some crappy ones don't get me wrong, but some are awesome examples of sci/fi, monster, horror films.
