Where in hell did you hear this? I thought TMS ended Sonic X. Unless you're just repeating old news that's not true?
Bleh... the hell with Flash. Most of things I've seen done in Flash look like crap. Besides, I have no idea how to use Flash. I'd rather use frame-by-frame animation anyways. And I'd want something in full 1080p with full Stereo sound.
I've got a preference for Japanese anime, but if you'd give me a good western animation to watch, I would be glad to watch it.
Yes, I can see that. It seems only the tech guys on this site don't attack me for saying something that they don't like. And personally, I'm disgusted by that.
You know how much this just makes me want to beat someone up? And f*** the piano, I've got my favorite video game music playing at all times. And I couldn't care less if I have any friends or not. I never cared about making friends anyways! I like myself the way I am: just a guy who plays games and works with computers and electronics in his basement. That's all I could ever ask for, and I have it. I'm happy like that and couldn't give a shit about changing anything.
I gotta give props where props are due. I think it's great that you don't care what anyone thinks of you and you do what makes you happy. I can't stand people being something they're not just to "fit in". And BTW, I posted that Lonely Man video all in good fun.
Anyways.....I was always amused by this one

And that's how I say everyone should be. Just do whatever pleases them and send everyone else to hell because they don't fit in. Hell, I've been attacked because I favor new-style Sonic over old-style Sonic, but I don't give a shit. I prefer new-style Sonic over old-style Sonic, and it will stay that way.
I didn't even notice you posted that video.
Anyways, I think it's time to put this issue to rest. I'm gonna keep quiet about my series on this site unless someone wants to get involved in the project. In that case, send me a PM. Otherwise, if you've got nothing good to say, do me a favor and shut up.
I will mention this before I shut up myself: there will be NO CENSORING in my series(aside from the F word, which will never be used). This means everyone will swear and curse, and when injuries are sustained, you will see blood depending on the injuries.

Yea, well you better tiptoe around me. And BTW I always get special treatment, because if I was going to dress up like something and go yiffing (not that I do, just sayin), I would be a robot, and yiff other people dressed up like girl robots, with big metal boobs. Also, I need you to know this because I hate people, and don't need to socialize (except to yiff). I make sure all the people on the other forums I post at know this too. Don't make me send you an empty threat across the internets. I get angry when I'm mad.
Nice images people. Massive quote reply.
Joypolis: The land of multiple seizures?!
Rottenbeard certainly wasn't.
But think of the weight you've lost.
I think it was the creation of Knuckles that showed the fan community that slight piss-poor aesthetic moderations can make a popular character.
No one is saying you have to reveal all the details, maybe a few teaser images? Make sure they don't all involve anthropomorphic shizzle. It'll only fan the flames.
It's going to have animal-esque characters having hardcore anal sex, with a plot inspired by the Twilight series. But it's going to be unique! One of the characters will have an eating disorder....Oh.
Need an amazing English voice actor? because I'm fantastic.
Because there are so many varieties it's hard to pinpoint them. I would semi-clasify it as something which has been done-to-death. That doesn't necessarilly mean it's bad though.
Rottenbeard is nothing like that. Try me. Send me a PM for maximum privacy.
I'm not sure if I'm reading this right. By ending do you mean the credits?
Not at all. Just don't be surprised if people outside your team don't understand or appreciate them as much.
But you just said you don't really care, so why should we?
Since when did I say I was looking for excuses to get angry?
They're not all anthropomorphic fan characters. There will be humans too(genetically altered humans, I should say. Well, not all of them).
Dude, don't even go there.
Please! I only have 1 position filled.
Send me a PM with more specifics. Even if there are a lot of them, just give me a few little clues so that I can make something different.
Thank God for that.
Yeah, that's what I meant. The credits will only be seen on the very last episode of the series instead of being at the end of every episode like it usually is.
I know for a fact some won't be understood, but since Metal Gear is quite popular among the team, I don't think references to that won't be understood.
I don't care what people think, but to be attacked makes me furious. I don't have any more rage to let out, and I hope I won't have to let any more rage out. It's time I put this behind and move on to bigger and better things.
There are too many for Rottenbeard to go into. Some of them are obvious. Take the Mario series for example, taken from mythology no doubt: bad guy takes princess. Hero goes out to beat the shit out of bad guy to rescue his chick. No doubt some hardcore anal sex follows (You don't see Mario doing that, but it probably happens).
That would depend on the programme. Many programmes have the credits at the end of the episode not at the beginning, opting for a nice short intro sequence. Take The Mentalist for example:
Short. Sweet. Job done.
Credits at the end obviously giving cast info. You owe it to the people who have given you their time/effort/energy by naming them, at least at the end of the episode.
What other references might you have planned?
Rottenbeard has spoken.
Even if you can just give SOME examples(just 2 or 3), I'd be happy with that. Pick out whatever comes to mind and post it.
Myself and my script writer are fans of Gradius, so what he asked me to do was to somehow make use of Gradius' most famous line: "Destroy the Core." And I'll be including music from various series and games we all like(Metal Gear, Gradius, R-Type, Thunder Force, Killer Instinct, After Burner, Wolfenstein 3D(maybe), and of course, Sonic the Hedgehog). Those are our planned references so far for anything that's not Metal Gear. The Metal Gear references will be used throughout various sneaking scenes in the series(music, traps, the question mark and the exclamation point with its signature sound, even a spin on "Just a box," which the guards will say in Metal Gear Solid if you're hiding in a box and they see you). Those are just some examples of references from other series team members like.
As for the intro/credits thing, that's sort of what I had in mind, but not exactly what I was thinking. Of course, I'd have a short introduction, but the credits will only be seen at the end of the LAST EPISODE of the series, not at the end of every episode.
I think it popped up early this year and there seemed to be a ton of hype about it at the end of Summer 2010 in fan circles (and almost every related Y video was mentioning it), wiki mentioned it and linked to a full article (seems to be edited since), and there's been a bunch of stuff popping up since August.
Unless that turned out to be a hoax, but I didn't see anything to that extent when I read about it a couple months ago.
Well you're going to need a lot of computer aid in any case no matter what program you use: but flash is also useful for stills in addition to everything else.Bleh... the hell with Flash. Most of things I've seen done in Flash look like crap. Besides, I have no idea how to use Flash. I'd rather use frame-by-frame animation anyways. And I'd want something in full 1080p with full Stereo sound.
It really depends on what you want to push and the exact nature of the animation.
Even professional animation isn't done frame by frame anymore and hasn't been done for decades: tons of re-use of animation frames being one thing, compositing frames is another, and of course with Anime you have the tred for VERY limited animation per frame in most cases cutting that way back anyway.
I've barely looked into the superficial end of animation, but I've seen enough to know there's a HUGE amount of variety.
I also know (of) people who wore themselves out attempting frame by frame animation and later got into flash with very good results.
Well I think part of it is some of the stuff you get offended by is light-hearted casual stuff that you take the wrong way, but anyone who's had any reasonable time on the forum should know that most joking like that just tends to frustrate you.Yes, I can see that. It seems only the tech guys on this site don't attack me for saying something that they don't like. And personally, I'm disgusted by that.
I know it gets on your nerves, so I don't push it, though I do on occasion elsewhere. Even for me it can get a bit frustrating: I really don't care about backhanded comments or sarcasm unless it's hard to tell one way or the other: that's when it gets confusing/frustrating. (especially if smilies aren't used)
I get flack for some of my preference too, but (aside from the tech stuff) I explain my POV to my satisfaction and don't usually bother beyond that.
Actually some people on Atariage commented about getting turned off to Sega-16 due to petty arguments from certain individuals and spammers not being moderated well enough albeit I think there are quite a few counter examples on AA.(though to a fair extent that's heavier on the tech side... you've got conflicts between A8/C64/Amiga/ST/5200/2600/7800/jaguar/lynx fans all over the place in different mixes among other things
