Default So I ebay bought a TG-16 game and a Nomad (sort of)

Ninja Spirit - TG-16 $4.50, which I'll use for my TurboExpress
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=200524307625

and this which I presume is a Nomad with Phantasy Star IV $49.99 (at least that's what the auction description says)

I think you got screwed with the Nomad.

I'll know once I get it, if it's a Nomad or Game Gear

It's a good deal for a Nomad cause those things aren't inexpensive, and seem to be climbing. I saw a broken Nomad go for $30

I'd be a little concerned if i were you. The title and his description say nomad, but the picture and item description say game gear.

I know. The worst scenario I'd imagine would be receiving a Game Gear with a RF and Phantasy Star IV (Genesis game).

Yeah, but the GameGear has no way of hooking up any kind of RF adapter without modification. My guess is that when he was listing the item ebay brought up the description of a Game Gear and he didn't bother to change it.

Hey, sometimes on ebay you have to take a risk, that's how you get the best deals. If he had proper pictures and description it would have been over $100. Let's just hope the Nomad is in good condition.

That's actually how you get good deals, by taking chances on very poorly listed auctions like that.

If it's a Nomad, nice deal man.

So what you're getting is a Nomad without a battery pack but the battery pack works, a power cord, a RF to huck up the Nomad to a TV, a TV that is in good shape, and Phantasy Star 4.

Well gang. I got it today, and it is what the auction says.

    A Nomad system
    RF TV connector
    AC Adapter
A original 3-button Genesis controller (with the red markings)
    Phantasy Star IV game

and it works perfectly, the screen looks amazing. I was expecting the LCD of the Nomad to look bad as the Game Gear from all the reviews I read about the Nomad.

But it looks just as crisp as my TurboExpress.

I'm using it with my Game Gear rechargeable battery pack that I modified with a 2400mAh battery.
