I am so going to buy this

And you can play old nes and I heard maybe sega games on it. Some of them to be remade for 3d. I think that alone is worth the 3ds.

What are your guys thoughts on it.

I don't really like handhelds but this one has me really interested. Price is the main factor, I don't wanna pay for a handheld that costs the same or more as a console, but if it's about 170 like the dsi I'll definitely pick it up I think.

Same here. Last handheld I had was a gameboy colour. I still think the game gear was an awesome little handheld.

1 - I don't even know if I'll be able to see this "3D" since i belong to the tiny part of the Earth that can not see 3D.

2 - *IF* I'm able to see this 3D I'm gonna wait for the 3DSi XL, since you know the first 2 versions of the 3DS will be crappy.

All in all i can't say I'm excited enough to care, but maybe thats because I've been gaming for too long.

I know a dude who went to e3 and tried it and he said it does work very well.

When it launches at $299 here it will have surpassed the record for most expensive Handheld. The last being the Rolls Royce TurboExpress.


I don't see the value of 3DS, probably because I have a DSi and I'm completely underwhelmed oh how much little effect is being done to actually utilize the hardware in these devices.

DSiware is an embarassment of shovelware. DSi is suppose to have better hardware than the DS/DSlite but I don't think but one or two developers attempted to capitalize on it.




I was really hoping Nintendo would put some SNES games up on DSiware. But they haven't done jack shit.

It will cost about R2500 when it comes out so will wait for the prices to drop.

Yea I get an email every week, telling me what's coming out for the VC, wiiware, DSiware, and omg boy does the DSiware suck.

Also the DSi in general is underwhelming, It's like Sega all over again(making systems that they have no intention of supporting).

I'm glad I didn't buy into that, so needless to say, I'm just gonna ignore the existance of the 3DS for a few years. If at that point, there's actually a huge Library of great games(that are actually new, not just ports), I'll pick it up then, until that time(lol if it even comes to past) I couldn't care less about the 3DS.

Indeed, like I told a lot of other people, I want there to be a way to play DS games (and Game Gear) on the TV.
