Garou's a no-go at the 'mo: CoinOps gave me an error message saying it was missing files. I'll look in to find another rom of it soon.

I guess I give DarkStalkers a try now.

Killer Instinct the First and Killer Instinct 2, most definitely.

No one's mentioned The Simpsons Arcade game??

Also I'd recommend giving the Fighter's History series a shot. It's a rip off of epic proportions, but it's really not all that bad.

TMNT: Turtles in Time most definitely also.

Just tried DarkStalkers, it works! I played as Jon the werewolf agaisnt Victor. A little bit of slowdown, but still very playable!

You'll need to get the Neo Geo BIOS roms first for any Neo Geo game to work. That includes Garou. Unfortunately, there are a great many different dumps of those BIOS roms flying around and just about version of MAME seems to require a different dump, so you might have to search around a bit to find the right one.

Yeah, I think you maybe right Devil N. Tomorrow, I try again, but right now I don't feel like going on a goose hunt thru the interwebs.

I think I'll try another fighter - Fighter*s History I reckon.

EDIT: Fighter's History was too glitched to play - the fighters were just a couple of lines and all the graphics were screwed up!

I'll give TMNT a whirl now.

EDIT: Oh, I see what you were saying. Nah, I'll stick with the emulated version on the Midway pack; Shaolin Monks isn't worth buying just for MKII.

Aww... is it like that for all arcade emulators for the Xbox? I was kinda hopin' on some Soul Edge ver. B and some Fighting Vipers goodness

WHICH I would highly recommend if the Xbox could run 'em.

Also, for vertical shmup needs, may I recommend Wyvern Wing?

Also, what's with emulation? It just seems odd that a console system that can pump out Dead or Alive Ultimate can't handle Virtua Fighter the First, ya know?
