What a crock. What about all the repro stuff at Nintendoage? It would really suck if anyone mentioned all that going on there to paypal.

Very disappointing. I was looking forward to King Colousus. Funny how the best service always goes down first. It's hard to find someone as fair with their pricing and production as Mark.
Now when people start searching for others who do still do this, don't go bumping that thread. PM them to see if they're still doing it. I don't btw.
Sorry this happened to you Mark & Matt
Diabetes sucks!
The monthly rom releases were typically for released titles or inexpensive prototypes. In order for us to purchase/release some of the higher end stuff we relied heavily on the sale of reproductions. Chuck Yeager cost us nearly $3K. If we were to release it (and other comparable titles) for free we'd be bankrupt in a month lol. Keep in mind that Mark and I are school teachers and don't really make the kind of money some of these other prototype buyers make. It was the releases that funded future releases. Once the money stops coming in, the prototypes stop going out unfortunately.
This is terrible news, please try to find alternate methods of getting these out, it's an awesome service you were providing.

I'm pretty neutral on the repro issue, and I posted early in this thread about how this was said to be for the community, yet Beagle refused to answer a simple pm of mine regarding where to get a label printed for repros and how to find out which cart would be a donor cart (I wanted to try and make a Megadrive Penguin Land cart, which was never released on cart, but I know nothing about that stuff other than how to solder), so it felt like, to me, "for the community" was not very true. I wasn't planning on making my dinky little cart to sell, I just needed a project to tackle and couldn't find much information regarding the topic.
With that said, however, it does suck that paypal is being a dick about this stuff, because a lot of those games are ones that people would never otherwise have gotten to play on their real hardware. I'm wondering if someone reported them to paypal, or if paypal was watching the notes left during the transactions or what.
The community aspect was addressed in the 11th post of the thread:
"beigemore: My comments about the community were not be viewed as some sort of martyrdom. Make no mistakes, we're providing a for-profit service. What I was getting at is being a part of the gaming community (DP, AA, NA, RFGeneration, Assembler, Neo, ect.) for 5+ years now, I've developed relationships and a reputation that I wouldn't dream of tarnishing by putting out a crappy product at an obnoxious mark up."
We're providing a service to the community that we love. What we're not super interested in, is doing countless hours of research and spending cold hard cash on perfecting our methods and then handing out that information to every single person who shoots us a PM. Sorry if that sounds unreasonable, but you can just as easily spend your time researching the way that we did. The info is out there to be had, you just need to look for it![]()
Damn man, that sucks. I was gonna order some in the next week or two. I'd be more than happy to send you a money order or something, but if you feel you shouldn't continue, then I can respect that too.
I'm only interested in two things: Titties and beer. Ya know what I mean?
Join my cult, we need you.

Maybe you could make up an order form and let people send it to you with a MO through the mail? I know it's not as convenient as paypal, but at least you wont have to pay their bs fees.
dammit.... i wanted a Willy Wars and a Wonder Boy repro...
I PMed MrMark0673 about it..nothing
just asking what happened
I answered this a bit earlier in the thread:
"Unfortunately, I was contacted by paypal early yesterday morning and I will have to stop orders effective immediately. Someone reported my sales thread from NintendoAge and I am no longer able to continue to provide this service."
Is there anything in particular that you'd like to know that I didn't cover? I don't think there's much more to it than that.
I feel bad for you guys, but I feel worse for the pathetic excuse of a human being who reported you.
He must be such a waste of skin if he has to do stuff like this to get his rocks off.
