    Shakespeare Reader Roundtable Vol. 59

This Sunday, millions of children will dress up in all kinds of costumes and hit up their neighbors for free candy. It's a fine American tradition, demanding free things from people you don't know, and we're honoring it with the fifty-ninth installment of our Reader Roundtable. Check out all the scary games our staff and readers have been playing this month, and you're sure to find some that are downright terrifying (sometimes for all the wrong reasons)! Read the full article and happy Halloween!

I LOVE Ghouls N' Ghosts. Frank, you really should try to finish the game. I tell you after you finish it once, the game becomes a lot easier. I find the gameplay to be so...satisfying. So insanely fun! And the Genesis Ghouls N' Ghosts is best, I don't care for Super Ghouls N' Ghosts or Ghosts N' Goblins too much, too many flaws.

I love the Genesis version of GnG. It's very close to the arcade in graphics and sound, and the gameplay is spot-on.

I AM trying to beat it! If this game were a walk through the park, it would have to be Central Park passed sundown!

But yes, it is QUITE fun. Luckily, I'm a masochist too, so my drive to beat the game just grows deeper. I'm actually a bit surprised no one else covered this game this month. I figured it would have been an obvious choice. Then again, that could be why no one did lol

BTW Baloo, is that a VR Trooper in your avatar??

Unless I'm mistaken, that's Daft Punk.

Why does my submission start with "Dear EA" once more? A remnant of last months submission? That shouldn't be there.

Out of curiosity how many beers did you need to drink to bring yourself to play Dark Castle or did you actually bravely play it sober?

Yes, that is not a VR Trooper Frank, rather it is the French House duo Daft Punk. Notable for the song One More Time, amongst many other things.

And I myself covered Ghouls N' Ghosts a couple months back.

Ha I thought it might have been an ad for that Genesis Virtual Reality headpiece that was never released......
