WTF What the hell is wrong with my VMU?!

No, this is not the VMU beeping. Actually, I never heard that sound of a VMU who want batteries. Guess I'm lucky, because I have my VMU since August-September. And I played a lot with the Dreamcast. Even more than my Wii.

Today, I played Power Stone for the first time. Haven't understood anything, but I'll read the manual, if it's availible on ReplacementDocs. How frustrated I was when I saw this ugly CAMCOP logo on my VMU, back to the console menu! So I deleted the PowerStone file, removed the VMU for the controller, removed the Power Stone disk, turn off the console... And this stupid logo is still there!

So now I'm thinking, is there a way to remove this idiot logo? With VMU Tools, maybe? But everytime I'll start Power Stone, guess the CAMCOM will be back on my VMU screen!

This is ridiculous! Camcom want us to have their logo right in front of our face everytime we start our Dreamcast!

Any solution for me (Yes, I checked on Google)?
    Thanks

If your DC can play CD-R's, then you can use Dream Explorer to change the VMU icon back to the default one. While you're at it, you can also unlock 41 extra blocks on your VMU and download prefab savegames for just about any game, if you like.

Some DC games allow you to change the VMU icon to a game-themed icon, which is what Power Stone did. I'm not sure if there are any games that force this down your throat though, like you suggest. Perhaps you unknowingly pressed 'Yes' when the game asked you whether it should change the icon. It can happen. Personally, I've got my primary VMU decked out with a Skies of Arcadia icon, which I think looks snazzy.

YES, I totally forgot the 41 unlockables blocks!
I have like 20 blocks left on my 200 block only VMU! This will be useful!

Thanks again, I'll try it out!

Who is Camcom and Camcop and how did they manage to place their logo on your VMU ?
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.

Then we set about developing killer games.
