Mortal Kombat Gold is exclusive to Dreamcast, but then Mortal Kombat Gold sucks big anus.
Soul Calibur is exclusive to Dreamcast (well, 360 and PS3 I guess too but hey) and doesn't suck at all, even though SC2 is better.

Some of my fondest memories of the Dreamcast go back to MK Gold. Is it the best MK ever? No. Is it the best version of MK4. You better fucking believe it.
Well PS1-3 era gamepads were terrible outside of just dual analog idea (I can't even play R-Type Final with a DS2 D-Pad, so good thing I can play it with with a DS3/4 on PS3). A longstanding Sony issue that seen no progress for such a long time due to blind Sony fanboys pretending it's the best gamepad ever because fanboyism. But the Dreamcast controller was terrible too and no dual analog setup. So not I'm really not a fan of both PS2 & Dreamcast gamepads equally.
On the games front, I lost total interest in gaming shortly after PS2 release. Mostly because I felt like there wasn't enough new innovation to keep interest in gaming. So I moved on. Not until Skyrim did I get into current gaming again. So again, not a fan of Dreamcast and PS2 games equally.
Same can be said about Windows PC games at the time and the Original Xbox (to some degree) which most 95% of people never bothered to try either both's library of certain games, not trying to "hate" neither but I will admit the only GOOD library of games to come out of that system was those made by Phoenix Games at the time which IMHO "Single-handedly" beats every game that came out to store sleves AND it was European Exclusive!
This "one of the most best prolific games to be released for the console and a personal favorite of mines":
MILES over this!:

For those not in the know-how, the game he just pointed out is one of the worst shovelware titles on the PS2, if not any system ever made. If not one of the worst games ever made.
We get it - you're butthurt over the PlayStation 2's success/popularity. No need to keep posting more crap, srsly. No one cares.
But you actually care to post it about me being "butthurt" didn't you? I'm just having a blast getting half of ya worked up over a overrated (or in your case, PAPULARR!!) console! you just gotta try and ruin the fun huh? Admittely i was a bit serious at first but now i'm lossen up a little and don't mind posting/sharing a bit of laughter (well to myself in the case) with everyone in this here forums.
Who've would've thought they're were so many PS2 guys *cough "fans" *cough around here?! Just surprised is all but ya know like what you like and don't have to be extremly bitter over my "factual", "truthful" and honest thoughts about it.
And always to keep in mind that this IS the Internet okay bud![]()
They make it blatantly obvious that they have an agenda to blast Sony's consoles. They look even more silly by trying to call anyone that enjoys those consoles as fanboys. If they think that the dual shock controller is bad, I suggest that they try out the controllers for the North American Satrun. Then go try the controllers for the Jag, Intellevision, Colecovision, 5200 and 3DO. There is a very short list of pack-in controllers for consoles, that are better than the DS, and one of them is the DS4. The DS4 replaced the 360 controller, as my favorite pack-in controller.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."
Idiot with 12 year mentality resorts to "I'm just trolling guyz, why so serious?" fallback. Gotcha. Cling to it pal, I'm sure everyone's buying it. /s
I've got mixed feelings about the DualShock 4; it's an obvious improvement over the DS3(*shudder*), but it still feels off to me. I still prefer the Xbox-style triggers over it - if the DS4 had those, it would be close to perfection. The limited edition PS1 themed DS4 is a massive upgrade over the stock - the analog grips and dpad are far better quality.
I never use the dpad on those controllers. I've always bought an arcade stick and even the NES vantage back in the day. Sony's consoles were the only ones that would allow me to use controllers and accessories form the previous console, until the PS4. It was cool that I could use my ASCII arcade stick from the PS on my PS2, and my Logitech GT wheel from the PS2 with my PS3 and PC.
The North American Saturn pad was pretty crappy. It felt like it was about to fall apart in your hands. I ended up getting the VF stick, and it was so cheap that I ended up getting a couple of Japanese Saturn pads in the end.

Damn. I just got lost. I really don't want to read back 24 pages. Anyone got the skinny on who's saying what and how are we talking about the PS2 and not the DC?
This thread began with the misconception and at the frustration of the original poster, a member who hasn't been active in over a year, that the Dreamcast is the 'worst' console ever according to an online-entry at Time Magazine which now exists merely as a broken link to one of the many empty corners of our immense and ever-expanding internet.
In all actuality it was article report documenting consoles that were failures commercially rather than any such failures based on the play-ability/integrity of their respective library and or offerings.
This thread has since been misconstrued for nearly the last twenty-three pages.
Was the Dreamcast an economic failure? Unfortunately, yes.
Was the Dreamcast a disappointment in regards to it being an enjoyable gaming platform? Hell no.
What do I think about comparing/contrasting/arguing/baiting/trolling the similarities/differences/advantages/short-comings of the Dreamcast and PS2?
So quite similar to the Dreamcast and PS2 being discussed in the same thread, it is a parallel to one of the very laws which govern the space-time-continuum: that the same matter cannot occupy the same space at the same time. It's all so basic guys. So God-damn basic.
