Yep pretty much. Repped
Meh its the same whiney crap you normally post when you shit up threads by dumping a deluge of anti Playstation diarrhea all over it. Let me guess at what you said: Wah wah wah crappy controllers .. wah wah wah crappy online system .. wah wah wah shitty shovelware software. etc etc. AMIRITE?
Yeah I had to speak at your level so that you'd understand me. Keep crying about how much you think the PS2 sucks. No-one gives a fuck. Well except Theif and he's probably needing his meds about now.![]()
I'd say we start again clean.
Dreamcast: Awesome console full of exclusives and provider of great nostalgia and magic.
PS2: Amazing console. None can doubt it can cater to all.
Xbox (Original): What eventually became the people's DC successor. Also full of magical exclusives.
Game Cube: Game Boy Player. Need I say more?
GameCube: The best Star Wars space combat game.
Dreamcast: I once called it my poor man's Neo Geo, but thanks to the Internet, It's no longer cheap to collect for.
PS2: There's so many games I'd love to play, but I like to keep my game count to under 100 games per console.
Xbox: I had no interest in the console when it launched, but after playing Halo and KOTOR on my struggling PC, that interest did a complete 180. It was my most played console from 2004-2006.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."
Yeah, the original X-Box has the best Star Wars Jedi experience(the lore with the Knights of the Old Republic series, and the actual light saber/force powers real time action experience with the Jedi Knight series).
Whiney crap? Buddy, you should take a closer look at what you write.
I don't recall writing anything about shovelware recently.
I would also think crappy controllers and online system would be vital serious issues to dedicated gamers. But guess not. Most gamers these days are happy controlling with their left nut it seems (not that today's gamers play any games that require any skill or precision either). And all those upset about motion controls must be crazy too.
The online part. Well sorry, but if gamers have to use outside method for communications (text & voice chat) on PS3, like Discord, then there's a serious issue that requires attention. So just like AVGN said in his Ghostbusters video "Stop supporting what you don't like/low quality with your money, or they'll keep on doing it." It's simple logic that would greatly reduce a lot of the junk out on the market. But that's wishful thinking on educating the masses on my part and AVGN.
No. The D-Pad on the wired black X-Box 360 controller is seriously flawed. The clicking duration of a directional input is way too long, literally leaving it only functional as hotkey buttons. The white wired and wireless are fine. But finding the white wired one for purchase is very hard in my area (only ever found one). But ultimately, if you play on X-Box you should seriously track the transforming D-Pad controller. But if you want to play with X-Xbox 360 controller on PC too, try to find the wired white one too.

I can understand not liking the GC controller. It's comfortable for me, but only in short doses. Anything that requires extensive use of the shoulder buttons eventually makes my hand cramp up. It's just too small overall for my hands.
Which is one reason I love the oXbox Duke controllers... they fit my hands like a glove. The smaller one (and by extension the 360/XB1) controllers are not too far behind it, but I love me some Duke controller.
I do have to agree on the 360 pad in that list however.
I can completely get it not being someone's favorite. I've met some people who think the DS PS controllers (even before the PS4 one) are the perfect controllers, standing head and shoulders above all others. But "not my favorite" is a far cry from "awkward design/layout". All the other controllers on that chart have at least one obvious flaw.
The N64 is awkward as hell to hold for most people.
The DC had very odd cord placement. (I can forgive the single analog for when it was released, but really should have been dual).
The Duke controllers were just too big for some people.
And then the GC I already mentioned, although that's more unlikely to be a widespread issue.
The 360 has almost the exact same layout and placement as the DS controllers. It simply swaps the D pad and the left analog stick. Again, I can get not finding that an ideal placement as a matter of personal taste... but the controller is popular as hell and widely imitated for a reason.
I didn't like the awkward button layout of the Duke. They should have been more horizontal, and the black & white buttons were too small.'I prefer the S controller.

The GC controller has always felt weird in my hands. I'm not sure if I can call it uncomfortable, though. I've only owned 4 GC games and have never played them very much. So it wouldn't be fair on my part. I've never liked the triggers, though.
As for the DC and original Xbox controller, they are two of the most comfortable controllers I have ever touched. They both feel extremely ergonomic in my hands.
The N64 grows on you once you play through a good game like Ocarina or Mario 64.
I barely remember a time when the PS1 controller felt awkward in my hands. Probably myself coming from the 3 and 6 button Genny controllers. But after a time, and two gnerations later, the dual shocks just became a staple in my house.
Controllers like the 360 and PS4 are straight up amazing, on the other hand. But I wouldn't be surprised if someone out there didn't feel the same way.
What I'm trying to say is, controllers will grow on you. And preference varies from person to person. Even the original NES controller grew on most people. All it takes is one good game. My most recent example is the PS Vita. I did not think I was going to enjoy it at all based on the layout. After Golden Abyss, I'm loving it (just don't get me started on stupid design flaws like the speakers placed right under your thumbs on the Vita)
But original NES controller sucks compared to it's dogbone brethren.
I'm sorry QuickSciFi, but your post msg is like "If you stick it up your butt enough, you'll get used to it."
WTF Thief?!
The only one with something up their butt is you. Chill the F' out!

I thought I worded it just right to get my point across. Wasn't meant as an insult.
Seriously dude. It comes off as nothing more than being an ass.
