I know - I was kidding. I just got the new Sesame Street games for the Wii ( know it wasn't one of the systems you mentioned but I thought I'd throw it out there), and they're pretty kid friendly. The game adjusts according to the kids level of understanding and they're simple enough, too. Plus, if the games get too hard you can jump in as 2nd player and help out. Can't think of any decent games for kids on the older systems, though.

    Sonic 1 and Columns.

    - Kids will learn more with a real game than a so called "learning" game: hand-to-eye coordination, logical thinking, memorization of patterns, etc. - all parts of a regular game like Sonic or Columns.
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.

Then we set about developing killer games.
