Before I go and do something stupid, let me preface this with saying thanks to Mick_AKA for all his help thusfar.
So here's the deal: I region modded my Model 2 64-pin Saturn last night, and when I went to test it, the access light just blinks about once every second. I was tired at that point, and went to bed thinking I could fix it today. Well today, I came home for lunch, took it apart real fast, and noticed that one of my wires were severed, so I figured that was it. I rewired the connection and... same thing. So I figure it has to do with the solder points themselves. I took a quick look at the joints and they all look good with no bridging. I did notice, however, that on the common points of jumpers 6 & 10 there is a bridged connection that's already on the joints. In the video I watched here, the guy removed them. My question is, should I do the same and desolder all the jumper points in question (6,7,10,11) and resolder all the points myself? Also, what switch should I be using? I'm currently using a DPDT switch, but it's a heavy duty one if that makes any difference. Thanks!
