Default What is a Saturn FDD (HSS-0128) actually worth?

I received it in a lot of a bunch of other stuff. Checked on feebay and it's listed at $180 and 400 which I sort of doubt it's worth that much. I'm not much into collecting Saturn stuff so I sort of just want to get rid of it.

Paid $80 US for mine but some folks on my forum in Japan have picked them up for next to nothing, it's not much use nowadays so mainly a collectors piece.

Those eBay prices are massively inflated, when they come up on actual auctions boxed complete examples for anywhere between $50-$100.

They pop up on Yahoo Japan auctions for a fraction of that.

What is it, the MPEG video pack?
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

No, that's the VCD Card. The FDD is an FDD (Floppy Disk Drive). It's for holding save data.

Doesn't Dezamon 2 or someshit work with it?

I bought some Saturn imports a couple of days ago. FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU Bulk Slash went way up. I trade some shit PS1 and DC games for it maybe three to five years ago, and wow it is expensive. Keep in mind I got the Satakore reissue () but yeah...wow. Anyway, I found it funny that Lode Runner Extra sells for $12 used, but $40 new. but guess what one I bought.

Not really, a floppy can hold way more than the Backup Cart and the System Memory, and some games can directly access it. And I think it can be used to transfer saved games to your computer, so you can save them in a more permanent manner.

For transferring saves to PC and other dev uses there's a USB solution for doing that and it's cheaper.

I'm just glad most of the imports I want aren't games like Radiant Silvergun and such. Only problem is that I want to get most all of them in one swoop...not going to happen. Ugh.

The game came was a huge cult classic for the longest time, but guess it is famous now.
