For about a year it was a dreamcast exclusive too. Then near the end of '01 it made its way on the ps2 (the graphics seemed worse?), and in '03 on the gamecube.

It would have been more epic had it stayed as console exclusive and never been ported over, for two reasons; 1.) capcom would have been giving dreamcast a bit more of a speical edge, and 2.) ps2 and company already had resident evil 4 coming near '05.

There is although, exclusive dreamcast Code Veronica consoles (1800 made), and STARS consoles (200 made).
What's even sadder, is that Sega was the company that developed RECV.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

i LOVE Code Veronica, in every aspect, graphic was awesome in it's time and the soundrack is great! The only bad in the graphical side, are the odd choices of the charachters models, heads were really detailed (apart from steve's hairs) but bodies used small and compressed textures. Heads had a polycount really close to RE1 rebirth and RE0(Considering that the characters were the only 3D things in the environment, unlike CV), and higher than RE4, and even larger texures than all of them, i wonder why bodies texturs were so neglected in comparison... It was more than enough for it's time, but with some minor enhances it would have been flawless!
