At least we now have an interesting discussion going on about the merits of PC gaming.
Well, the Steam network probably has a better backup system in place than your home PC, and even if Steam happens to go offline, you can still play most of your downloaded games without needing a direct connection to the Steam servers.
Collecting PC games is indeed far less satisfying, but I think I'm still mainly a PC gamer because PC games have far greater replay value.
That, and I'm a cheap bastard.
