'Just bought this. Can't wait to play it.
So no plans for a digital release?
Mine was supposed shipped along with the first units, but did not arrive yet. I'm trying to contact them through the site for more than a week and still have no answer.
I'll never buy anything again from them.
mine hasn't arrived either.
no valid tracking code, no communication
what a joke, huh?
I'm tempted to try the beta using nullDC.
All I'm missing now is Dux/Redux. I wonder what the differences are.
DUX is the original game, DUX 1.5 is a re-arranged and much easier version of the same game but with a new soundtrack. REDUX is a completely new version, pretty much like a sequel of sorts, but perhaps a bit more similar to its predeccessor than e.g. Sonic 2 is to Sonic 1. Time will tell.
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.
Then we set about developing killer games.

^Thanks.
So, I just paid for DUX. Do you know if DUX 1.5 was actually ever released? There are sites that state it was never released. Can't wait for REDUX to come out, though.
Never mind. I just found out about these:

Question about Sturmwind:
Anyone know what's with the 178 second time limit 4th boss (Level 1-4)? Anyone know what to do here? I have more than enough lives to go on, but it's "Game Over", regardless, once the marker hits "0".

My game finally arrived today. Visually it's pretty impressive, I played until stage 3 and could not see any problem with the score system like some people said on shmups.com.
However, I can't configure the buttons as I want, what makes almost impossible to play with my arcade control.
Still do not intend to buy any other game from them after seeing their policy of "You not received our item? So I think you are f*d, sorry."
Normally I would agree with this sentiment. But sometimes when a customer deals with an issue in an agressive tone, the seller responds in kind. Even though I was quite annoyed, I maintained my composure when corresponding with Red Spot Games. I noticed that quite a number of people of Facebook were quite arrogant and vocal in voicing their displeasure. And I was not surprised that the developer responded in kind.
Anyways, I thought I would share my experience of how I handled the situation with Red Spot Games after not recieving my copy of Sturmwind.
If you still have not recieved the game, I would first submit the issue via the website's online ticketing system. As noted above, maintain a professional non-agressive tone in your message. Everytime you submit any kind of correspondence, retain a copy of the transmission for your personal records. You can do this by taking a screen capture of the web page showing the message prior to submitting it online and saving it in a Word document. This is quite helpful in cases where you are dealing with a seller who has acted in bad faith and you are forced to bring the matter to the attention of your credit card company for an investigation. In my case, my customer experience with Red Spot Games was positive and I was happy with the final outcome.
When submitting the issue via the website's ticketing system, in your correspondence detail what the issue is about (unrecieved/damaged item etc.), state the dates and what actions you took after you purchased the item online. Finally, end your correspondence by stating your willingness to resolve the matter and that you do not wish to register a complaint with your credit card company.
After you submit the issue on their website, take the time to post the issue on their Facebook page, referring to the transmission's ticket number. Someone from Red Spot Games is reading those comments and taking care of the issue relatively promptly.
After I submitted the issue on their website and on Facebook, Red Spot Game's customer support responded to my questions in 24 to 48 hours. My correspondence consisted of 5 email transmissions and I recieved the item shortly thereafter. Since I am in Canada, i knew it would take 2 to 3 weeks for the item to be recieved. I planned to send a follow-up email enquiring about the item in the event that I did not recieve the item after three weeks. In my case, it too 10 business days for the item to be recieved.
I hope the above information helps!
For those of you who have not played the game yet, Sturmwind is a well polished game. I enjoyed my time playing this title.

I think it took over a month for my copy to arrive, but I did eventually get it (finally!), and yeah, it's a very good game, and was worth the wait.
