I have a decent 32X collection I will never go for the complete collection though. To much money involved and Spiderman is horribly crappy game.

I agree, but hey for all you people wanting a complete collection...go for it! Nothing I would do myself personally, but you have one less person to worry about going after games!

Not sure how many have seen this but I have been following to see how much it goes for. The complete US 32x collection on Ebay:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200556374769&ssPageNam e=STRK:MESINDXX:IT
And the final answer: $463 and it didn't meet the reserve. The seller has re-listed with a starting bid of $499.99.

Congratulations. The shelf looks really good, it has a feeling of "completeness" .

I got Toughman Contest a few days ago. Still have around eight games before my PAL set is complete.

32x isn't to tough to tackle, finding nice boxes is the hard part. My goal is to complete the Sega Console Library so I still have a long way to go.

I reorganized my 32x collection, and while I was at it I took a video, check my blog to see it.

There is Fifa Soccer '96 and Darxide which were EU only, and Darxide is ridiculously expensive to find. I think someone here picked up a copy of Darxide in the last several months for over $1000. The last is San Goku Shi IV (Romance of the Three Kingdoms 4) which was Japan only. Of the three only Darxide is the one that is actually supposed to be very good.

    And:
    Surgical Strike (BR) (32XCD)

    So actually there are four...

...but only 2 copies of Surgical Strike have ever been found, 1 of which may have since disappeared (the owner died), and it's an upgraded version of a game that was already released on the regular Sega CD. So it's like the Air Raid of the 32X, but even worse.

So yeah what everyone else said. As far as expense it would be more expensive to track down the 3 world titles than the US library, if you count Surgical Strike then it gets worse. I am unclear if surgical strike ever saw official release or if it was a production demo. I personally don't count it for the set.

Fifa $50ish Sangokushi 4 $300, (though sometimes you can find a deal on this) and Darxide $700 is the lowest I have heard paid on this in the last year or so.

Wasn't there someone on here that claimed to have a copy?

EDIT: Found the post; it was by someone who said it existed in Brazil (the country not the Terry Gilliam movie, although that would also have been neat):

Yeah I had seen that post before. The fact that only 1 or 2 have ever surfaced is what makes me believe its a production copy, I don't think it was ever produced in large quantites, they probably created a few full scale mock ups for press but scrapped it before it ever saw a full production run

It's so nice to see this thread again. Seeing that complete set makes me feel all gooey inside.
