    Default Port on Back of the Saturn?

    What is the port labeld "Communications Connector" used for on the back of the Saturn?

    Floppy drive form what I know. Its a RS-232C serial port IIRC

    So, what would this be used for? Is there a Floppy add-on to the Saturn?

    Would games be compatible to use two player mode full screen on two TV's insted of split screen on a single TV?

    I always assumed it was for the netlink modem. If that doesnt connect there, then how do you connect the netlink?

    NetLink Modem attaches to the Saturn through the Cart slot.

    How bizarre when there is an RS232 on the back. I guess its not the oddest thing that sega ever did though

    It's even more odd since Sega used the serial port on the MD for the Mega Modem... though I'm not positive it was actually used in serial mode. (the EXT port is basically the same as the controller ports iirc, 7-bit parallel with serial support as well)

    Yes. the Japanese releases of Daytona USA Circuit Edition, Hyper Reverthion, and Gun Griffin 2 all support system link for two full-screen displays.
    (there may be a few more games as well)

    There was also a printer that plugged into that port
