Don't you think it would be cheap to have the character with guns though. like they would just be using the gun over and over, so the gun would have to be ultra weak, but if it was ultra weak why would anyone use it? I still think it would fit in better with Smash Bros

Sigh that would've been awesome, It's ashame they didn't go through with the game.

Lol, I was just gonna mention it looked sluggish, well that explains it.

It never made it past the pitch demo and concept design, so it's really unclear how it would have ended up on the real hardware.

The project was started just after Spinball was completed (before the pilot episode had even aired) and after the SatAM game it was dropped Morawiec later went on to do Comix Zone. (in the case of all 3 games he was the art/concept designer and a producer)

Wow really, would've never guessed that was in the works before the cartoon even aired.

That's awesome. I bet most gamers today wouldn't be able to name any of the characters on the right that aren't part of the Sonic series, haha.

This would be a cool way to conjure up some interest in some of the dead SEGA franchises. Just look at Pit. His inclusion in Brawl could be the reason they decided to make a new Kid Icarus title. Just imagine- a new Golden Axe game that DOESN'T suck.

yes it would be a pretty cool idea to have. Have a SEGA game with all the old characters together as one again. Just think how cool it would be to have Vectorman 3 or Gunstar Heroes 2: The Sequal ( yes i know about Gunstar Super Heroe, but it was more of a remake then a sequal )

Too many Sonic characters on the Sega side(nearly the entire bottom half). Booooo!!
I don't play old stuff for nostalgia, I play old stuff because the games are better.

It should be a Tag Team fight game!

    Jo Musashi & Shadow Yamamoto
    Sonic & Knuckles
    Dr Robotnick & Metal Sonic
    Toejam & Earl
    Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck
    Gillius Thunderhead & Axe Battler
    Axel & The Kangaroo
The Hercules Twins(fully powered up of course)

    Genesis sprites and backgrounds please

Knowing Sega, it would consist of nothing but 12 Sonic characters and some DC chars that no one cares about like Ulala or that girl that was in the Toejam and Earl DC game.

With obscure Genesis chars like the Bonanza bros and Ali from Beyond Oasis.

    As DLC.

    For $8 each.

    That's Sega of today.

I agree, but personally my main problem is that I can't seem to see not even one character from Wonder Boy (correct me if I'm wrong)

I don't like to criticise it though, as I think whoever drew it did a damn fine job, hopefully it will be coloured one day.

I like that idea, there could be a mode for tag team battles. Maybe the game should just be on the Sega Genesis and be like a 2-D fighting game with the original sprites instead of Smash Bros on N64. Smash Bros is one of the best selling fighting games though, but it would also be cool to have it as if it was a Neo Geo fighting game
