Pretty much what I got.
Oh yeah, $25 Gamestop Certificate...don't really shop there but hey! I did get something game related.
The smell of scorched oil hangs in the air as a premonition of danger, while the engine gloriously shouts its war cry...
Throughout history, suspicion has always bred conflict. The real conflict, though, resides in people's hearts. This conflict has just begun.

Alright, I've spent the majority of my Christmas money on this:
and Audio Technica M50 headphones:
Hooray!![]()
Nave, what is that thing with the dial?
I got $75 to Wal-Mart.And brand new socks.
I also have given myself a gift and signed up for Paypal.
I got a ton of cool stuff this year.
Wacom Intuos4 tablet (this thing rocks socks. I can draw on the computer without it looking like shit now!!)
Civilization V (PC)
Fallout 3: GOTY (PC)
Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii)
1600 MS Points
8gb Memory Stick Pro Duo
8gb Sandisk Cruzer flash drive
Minecraft T-shirt
Pac-Man snuggie
And my overgenerous extended family gave me a total of $215, which I will promptly go blow on eBay (going to get myself a Sega CD for Pier Solar and some other things!)
I ordered my own gifts on ebay using other people's credit cards and had them wrap it for me. Who gives a shit about surprises anymore, I'd rather get what I want and save people the stress of shopping for me.
I got an AtGames Megadrive, like, seriously ;p
along with lots of other stuff, though.
You know, I feel the same way for the most part. Unless it's something you know I'll like and I know doesn't exist (I got Mario Kart Bedsheets this year, love them, but had no idea they even existed!), I'd rather just get cash or know what my presents are in advanced. It's just so much easier for both parties I think. I was never a surprise guy myself.
My christmas haul:
Pac-man Pajama Bottoms
Mario T-Shirt
Atgames Genesis clone. (One that takes SD cards and looks like Sonics head)
Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack The Ripper 360
Sonic The Hedgehog DVD's
MS Points Card
and a bunch of non-game related stuff
Here's what I got:
Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii)
One Piece: Grand Battle (GC) (I'm sorry, but this game is just so bad, it's good)
Bomberman Generations (GC)
Zelda: Oracle of Ages (GBC)
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (360)
Gorillapod (flexible tripod)
Dexxa Flight stick (DB-15 Game port)
Hallmark box for puttin stuff in
$50 Zellers gift card
$10 in cash
T-Shirts with the following kinds of stuff:
- "World History in Four Kirbys" from Brawl in the Family (webcomic)
- "Widowmaker from Game-A-Vision" from Codemonkeys
- "Hylian shield" hoodie
- "Japanese Transformers"
- "lotsa Transformers characters"
I thought the Little Dot amps aren't bad at all for what it does. Then again when I had my I+ the tubes made the music too fat for my liking. For my Grado headphones I just use vintage receivers and amps to drive them.
Anyway I got cash plus food and I use the cash for this:
Pioneer CF-F900 Cassette Deck from the 70s and Amber 50B Int Amp for my turntable.
