I always loved playing mutant hockey league with a friend. Very fun game that a lot of people seem to hate. The goalie AI is HORRENDOUS though.
Groovy
I don't know if this qualifies as unpopular but I love Super Street Fighter II over SF II:CE. It's got better graphics, better A.I., more characters and options. I know a lot of people hate Super Street Fighter II compared to CE that's why I mention it here.
Babies...the unfortunate by-product of a good time.
Cyborg Justice - my #1 rental as a kid. It tends to get ripped apart due to its complicated controls and horrible noise they call music, but I love it regardless.
Death Duel is another one I really liked but you don't hear much of anything about.
Be Attitude For Gains!
Not sure if they hate it. I think it's just nostalgia. Everyone loved some SCE (or Turbo for SNES guys) back then, but when SSFII was ported to the home consoles ppl got tired of SFII rehashes already. Also in my case, I love character portraits in SCE more and I find all the four of the new challengers not deserving to be a part of the classic cast![]()

Cyborg Justice is cool. It's not one of my favorites but it's enjoyable. I never quite figured it out. I should give it another go.
Here's another one.
When I was younger I used to be into Best of the Best Championship Karate. I liked how you had to train your guy to get tougher but the controls were really nutty.
In my case it would be Magician Lord for the Neo Geo. Not very many people seem to like it due to it's high difficulty, but I really enjoy it because of the overall atmosphere and style.
And thanks for proving my point that you need glasses,
they not only changed the entire story and look, they also messed with the difficulty settings.
(also its great to see how you just ignored my mentioning of all the REMOVED ART)
Its not a completely different game, its just a failed romhack.
and thats why i object, because what you're saying is that you don't mind playing a bad romhack.
Its like wearing a great jacket that someone violently threw up on,
and still saying you don't mind walking around with the barf on it just because its the same jacket.
Sega USA barfed on the game, making it a stinky inferior piece of shit.
My dad probably went to the flea market in downtown Rio de Janeiro (where I'm from, I live in FL now though, anyway), and just picked up a random game from a pile, which turned out to be Arrow Flash.
And I'm not into shmup games that much, but the nostalgia from this game is too much for me to bear. I want it in my collection. It's a great game that no one talks about. It's SHMUP 101, easy to play, easy to beat, but still fun.
Rings of Power, first console RPG I ever had and probably the longest I ever spent on one game.
alex the kidd the enchanted castle
oke it s not that good as miracle world but better then the others like
high tech world and the lost stars
