Yes, but only the early revisions come with them on a dedicated board. Later revisions do have them integrated into the main board.
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.
Then we set about developing killer games.

Well that explains it. I have two SNES model number SNS-001 in front of me. One has yellow discoloration on the bottom (top is fine) and the other has discoloration on the top, but not the bottom. I wanted to piece together an all white SNES using both of the consoles, and I find out that one of them has a sound amp integrated and the other doesn't. The shell mounting holes are slightly different on the two housings, resulting in me not being able to piece together the all white SNES.
It appears as if it's not possible to take a board that has it integrated and mount it correctly into a housing that previously had the board with it on it. If Nintendo wanted to change them from dedicated to integrated, fine but at least leave the damn mobo mounting locations the same so someone can compensate for their horrible choice of using shitty plastic that will discolor over time, lol! Oh well, I'll find a work around for it. Time to bust out the drill.
You know that you can just Retr0bright the plastic white again, don't you?
I may retr0bright the other SNES along with some NES that have which are discolored in the future. For this one in particular, I'm going to try the swap out first. Also I was wondering:
1. Has anyone removed the controller inputs from an N64 that get chipped from improper use and replace them with one that hasn't been damaged? I imagine that you have to de-solder them from the actual board.
2. If a gamecube can't read the disk, is it more often than not that the laser needs replaced or just cleaned?
