Lobo logo (LOL! almost the same word!) may look better at the top, since the sky is quite empty and the logo currently covers the skulls the guy is sitting on. Other than that, top notch!

HA Lobo logo lol.
I originally tried putting the Lobo logo up top, but it's too big and covers part of his face. So then I shrank it a bit and it looked weird, like too small to be a logo, especially for a badass like Lobo. So I placed it where it is now. It wasn't my first choice, but I got used to it and now I think it looks kinda neat with his throne of skulls. I might make another version if anyone is interested though.

Great work. They definitely look good. Just as general feedback the grid on the EU SMB (I can't comment on the NA one) looks far too high contrast. All grid-style games (with the exception of Empire of Steel) have a low contrast between the grid and the black background. It still looks great though.

I did that to account for the covers printing out a little darker. My experience has been that they always print a little darker then how they display on screen (all 3 printers that I've used do this), so I upped the contrast a little to account for that. I could modify one for you and lower the contrast, if you're interested. Anyways, thanks for the feedback.

I ordered it from ebay and it's on its way, but I don't know how good of a condition it is. It's listed as "Very Good in excellent condition" but there was just a stock photo in the auction and I took a chance. It should come tomorrow, I think.

Could you make one for - you guessed it - Spider-Man vs the Kingpin (Mega Drive)?
I could, but I don't have any scans for it. You'd probably be better off asking in thecoverproject.net forums. There is a user on there called Grumbleduke, he did the cover for the SMS version (which uses the same art) which means he has a decent scan of it. Chances are he'd do a MD version for you if you asked, he's a nice guy like that.

Nah, it wasn't just because of you, though your feedback is appreciated. I wasn't too happy with how the DC logo looked in the top corner, but I wasn't sure what to do with it. So I looked at some covers of the comics to see how they arranged things, and I decided to go with the black box behind the DC. Once I put that there, the smaller Lobo logo didn't look as awkward up top.
And don't worry I'm still working on that SMB manual. progress is a little slow because I'm not sure what to do about the artwork. The original NES manual has some black and white pictures ie: for all the enemies. The problem is they're so minimalistic, that the they don't look very good in the scan, (hell they didn't look so hot in the original print copy). So I'm a little divided on whether I want to use those pictures or play through the game and just take screen shots of all the enemies. The latter option would be cool because it would add more colour to the manual and the screens would give you a better idea of what the enemies look like in game. But on the flipside, I kinda like the original artwork and want to preserve as much of it as possible. So I've pretty much been doing both, playing the game to get screenshots of the different enemies and stuff, and trying to clean up the original drawings. What I'll probably do is use the screens for the actual enemy descriptions and then include some of the drawings just to a bit of personality to the manual.
