I really don't see the point unless you want to play on a real Master System or Game Gear. Otherwise the normal Everdrive for the MD/Genesis works just fine for SMS games.

You can also play SG-1000 games on the SMS with this cart, whereas the Sega Everdrive lacks that option. Originally Posted by Joe Redifer

Ah yes, I forgot about that.
I found (by way of the Genesis Everdrive) that you can use the Sports Pad in lieu of the paddle for games that require it. It's a bit touchy, but I was able to successfully play games like Galactic Protector and Woody Pop and advance to upper levels. Haven't tried Alex Kidd BMX Trial with it yet. Oh, the Sports Pad needs to be upside down (so the ball is on the left).

I ordered one the other day. Got a notice that it shipped!! I like to play the games on my master system even though I could play them on my genesis with the Genesis-Everdrive. I think the Game Gear everdrive will be the most useful new board comming out soon. Then I wont have to bring a bunch of carts with me when I take my Game Gear somewhere.
