Official 16Bit Fan Art Thread

I posted some official artwork without the logos. Why? Because they are awesome. I have tons more but I'll leave these for now (the max I can make per post is 25 anyway). I'm a fan of SoR, I have boxart images without logos and other stuff. I had to cut some making it to this post. Perhaps I can post them in an Official 16-Bit Art thread as opposed to fan art?

I'm not exactly an expert in the term "Fan Art", but I'm pretty darn certain several of those images are honest-to-goodness, officially-commissioned art pieces for their respective games.

Sarcasm much? I'm not claiming those were made by me (wish I had the skill to draw to being with). They are cool nonetheless so I posted them to share.

Uhm... he wasn't being sarcastic. Well, not that I could tell. It read as literal. Fan art is just that, art made by fans. Commercial and official art is not. He's not saying don't post what you didn't draw; he's questioning why you would post non fan art in a fan art thread.. is all. Though Quickscifi could probably speak for himself ;>_>



Heh, I used to sketch/pencil art stuff decades ago, but I don't nowadays. Looking through my old art folder, I don't seem to have anything specifically Genesis related (though some game stuff from the 16bit era). They must not have survived :/

I get that, that's no problem. The first sentence probably was not tasteful enough but going back to the topic at hand: I could open another thread but it's probably best I didn't, unless I posted individual links to all those pictures and more of what I've collected. I'm sticking to uploading them to my flickr account though, thus rendering the end of me posting non fan art images in this thread. For those who want the images, I won't post them in this thread. I'll share them via my flickr account, as I said.
