No, two of my friends have it and I've used it. Seems nice, but too bulky and heavy for comfortable carry. But then again it was released back in 2009 and things move awfully fast in this regard.
The N95 was the size of a pocket camera and even looked like one. I didn't really warm up to it. If you make big phone, why not put a screen that covers most of it? The whole slider thing is also a bit awkward to use. I had an X3 and it was horrible. I got it for free and almost threw it away, what a piece of shit!. Easily the worst phone I've ever used.
I'm trying to push my N900 to the fullest by overclocking it and installing some REAL games on it but alas i'm very ignorant to the OS. I even managed to hack my N95 back in the day but this right here is a nother beast.
In that case, don't buy a Samsung phone; unless you are completely satisfied with the device as it comes out of the box, and have no need of firmware updates. They've had a shit-ton of issues with their build quality in the past, where even their flagship Galaxy range has had poor-quality GPS chips and a proprietary filesystem that can literally slow the thing down to a crawl. They've also promised and back-pedaled on firmware updates, so people on 2-year contracts are left with an outdated OS, incapable of running brand-new apps.
Ideally I'd stay away from carrier-branded devices and get something as close to stock Android as possible, but obviously that's down to money & your phone plan.
I do miss the battery life & tank-like construction of my old Nokia, though. Even if (probably explaning the former) it did nothing but rang and I answered it.
