Fantastic work (as usual I should add)! - Tetris did came out even before Columns though (well, they tried before they realized Nintendo had the rights for the home market). Anyway, it probably should come in the classic black 'n white stripes cover

The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.
Then we set about developing killer games.

Just a few questions about these two ebay auctions.I'm inclined to believe the bottom manual is the original and the top is a repro ?
Also, about the older japanese cart stickers. What are people using for these, adhesive backed type,or applying an adhesive layer to them after printing. What about the type a paper ,gsm ,colour (just normal white?)I also noticed that my shark shark shark cart has a fine clear plastic film ,so are people bothering with that on their repro's?.And finally ,what about the sticker that's on the back of the japanese carts, any repros of these ?

what would you say, is it maybe possible to make a cover for the Wackey Race game?
This is so much better than the original cover.
If it isn’t too much trouble, could you try to make an alternative cover for Wonder Boy in Monster World as well? I love the game so much, but I’ve always hated its crappy cover and I also really dislike the old Mega Drive cases compared to the new ones.
Can't say I really know that much about Japanese MD games, but I'd be inclined to agree with your theory.
I'll have to check it out, I've never played it.
Thanks. Yeah I could to a Wonder Boy custom, I don't have any artwork though, hook me up with something and I can make it for you.

Yeah, I was afraid that may be the case. The only artwork I found is some fan art like this:
The last one is actually Link in Hyrule, but I find the style quite similar to Monster World III.
I don’t know if you can make anything out of this, but thanks anyway.

How do you get these games on actual Genesis cartridges?
You need to contact someone that makes repros. I'd recommend MrMark: http://www.sega-16.com/forum/member....826-MrMark0673 or www.gamereproductions.com. You can of course try to do it yourself, but it requires a rom chip programmer and a lot of soldering....
