Cool Spot had OK music. Much better than Spot Goes to Hollywood. I remember being hyped up by Game Fan about the Skeleton Warriors music. I finally rented it and the music was pretty good but it hasn't aged well. Nowadays I simply cannot stand synthetic orchestra, though ActRaiser will always sound cool.
That was a grrreat episode guys! I really didn't think Fantasia was gonna be that bad until I HEARD it in action.
You say you take suggestions? How about an episode about Power Rangers games? lol
I just felt itchy while watching your gameplay of Genny's Aladdin because I'm used to speed-running this bad boy every time. It felt like watching my grandma play my favorite game of all time. Aaaaahhhh!!
Seriously? That's your favorite game of all time? Bu.. er.. WHY?
I second this. Power Rangers games need more love.
I also have to say that Game Sack has become my favorite review show along with CGR. I really like how it isn't just "I hate Nintendo" and "I hate Sega" anymore. I like how you've stated to talk about Nintendo games and Dave talks about Sega games, so it's not just a fanboy parody. Keep up the good work.

Some damn good music in that game for sure. It really is let down by a lack of diversity in enemies (should of had palette swaps that attack you in a different way). Still controls well and has an okay assortment of moves and nice graphics, definitely good for one play through at least.
I thought the music in Aladdin was fine and some of it sounded good, also pretty fun to play.

Those along with Choujin Sentai Jetman on the Famicom, Gekisou Sentai Carranger for the SuFami Turbo add-on for the Super Famicom. Then there's a good amount of Kamen Rider games on both the Famicom and SuFami (the beat'em up on the SuFami was pretty neat) and the imo, misunderstood Ultraman games for the MegaDrive and SNES/SuFami (most people try to play them like a traditional fighter and get upset with the game when that doesn't work. They have their own style to learn and master and are rather fun once you know how the game and its controls work.).
Then if you want to go past the 16-bit era there are some great Tokusatsu games on the Saturn/PS1/PS2/Dreamcast/GBA/GC/DS/PSP/Wii (i'm currently enjoying the latest game in the Climax Heroes series "Kamen Rider: Climax Heroes Fourze").
Also for those that don't know (I assume most here do), Hiroshi Fujioka who played Segata Sanshiro also played Hongo Takashi/Kamen Rider Ichigo (the original from 1971). He recently reprised his roll as Ichigo (in voice only) in the Kamen Rider OOO team up movie "Let's Go Kamen Riders".

I loved every bit of Aladdin back in the day and it was another game that should've been ported to the SCD. With that being said the game is a bit overrated but it had a great presentation and that digicel animation was the real deal back then.
I enjoyed Aladdin on the Genesis quite a bit, it may be a mediocre platformer but it is technically impressive at the same time. Those comments are funny about the music though, I always wondered why it sounded so dinky.
For me the cream of the crop of Disney games is the Illusion series and Quack Shot, everything else is just a licensed game to me whereas these games would be great no matter what characters were in them.
