Great show, really good examples of disappointing sequels for sure.

I love Zelda II!I honestly never got into Zelda 1. It's okay, but Zelda II had more variety to it, such as towns, and the whole platforming element it introduced that kept me wanting to play.
You can tell there's a fair bit of effort put into this show, compared to the typical Let's Play type stuff you might find. The editing and sound quality are solid. You also have interesting observations and information to impart. Only part that makes me cringe are the back and forth wry comedy bits that fall flat most of the time. That kind of set up, punchline stuff sounds like a lame newsreader quip or awards ceremony rib tickler most of the time. If it's going to sound rehearsed and not spontaneous better to leave out the joshing presenter interplay.
^haha, that was my first Game Sack...i wonder what the NG community thought of that one
so jealous of that sexy AES though!
Heyyyy Joooeeee, why was the actual sega cd footage and your guys commentary taken off sega cd gs episode cd, because of cd space ? Very cool I can watch it on my sega cd.
Only the parts that were made specifically for the episode were on the CD. Why would we digitize Sega CD footage and re-encode it for the Sega CD?
I hear you Joe, but was just wondering because I think it would be cool to watch the whole episode on Sega CD. Like yeah the fmv shots of games with your narrations on fmv would be under quality video wise on sega cd, I get it, but would just be cool to watch whole episode. Thought it was a mb size issue, but I hear you. I like the different "background" and 16:9 options though. But it stops to menu after 2 minutes of each segment, was just wondering if I could take your youtube avi and convert it to cinepak to play whole episode on sega cd or something. Chilly was supposed to hook me up the Matrix Movie Cinepak Version one day but he is ghost.
Good episode though.
Yet another great episode! Loved the SEGA-16 reference with Side Pocket.
You guys are giving me more games to play!

Poor Dave called the character in the Gameboy Castlevania games Simon Belmont. Whoops Dave, it's actually Christopher Belmont.![]()
Excellent episode! Thanks for the God of War segment. That was a pleasant surprise. Kudos Dave! Hey maybe Streets of Rage 2 for the next one!![]()
