I supposed it was video editeeze for "we don't got that one".
Actually it means "Dave forgot to mention that one". No need to show them gameplay-wise since they are the arcade versions. But I had to show the box so people would know that we didn't forget. What we DID miss, however, is the unlockable version on Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. I have a platinum trophy, everything unlocked on that one and even I forgot about it. The emulation of the games in that title is iffy, though.
I have to disagree about EDF. I've never played the arcade, but the SNES version is awful. Slowdown, horrible music, useless weapons, and it's made stupidly difficult by having almost all the enemies coming from above, below, or behind, and never from the front where you can actually shoot them. Terrible game. And here's a music comparison:

Also, I had no idea there were not just one, but two ports of the game to the NES/Famicom. Even and ol' timer like me can learn something new about classic games![]()

Uhh, I know this is off-topic, but Rob, do you know how rare the Asterix beat em up game by Konami is? I've had a quick search around and haven't found anything at all. No copies for sale, just screenshots and some minor reassurance that it does exist.
It exists, and it's not terribly expensive (for an arcade game). I've seen several copies show up for sale.
Nothing I said in the video counters your points here, except that I certainly don't think the SNES music is "terrible", it's just not as nice or as full as the arcade version. The weapons aren't useless, you just have to choose the right one... again, like I pointed out in the video. In the end I did choose playing the arcade version as preferential over playing the SNES version.
Super Nintendo... didn't they test that console before they released it? Seessh.
EDF looks good in arcades, though! It has that Jaleco charm I have grown to love. Certainly going to check it out.
Hm, that is excellent news to my ears. If I were to pick any kind of JAMMA game to get my feet wet with, I'd get Asterix. The series is in essence a beat em up in comic form. It looked like a match made in heaven when I saw Konami made it.
Where have you seen these sales? Maybe I've just been looking in the wrong places...
Check arcade forums. KLOV, Neo Geo, Shmups, etc.
Buying arcade PCBs is a waiting game. Most aren't available at all times. Just keep in mind what you want to buy and keep your eyes open. Eventually, you'll find a copy.
Also, if you like cartoony beat em ups, Ninja Baseball Batman is not to be missed.

I have really gotten to be a big fan of Game Sack so far, keep it up guys!
Can we make any suggestions for possible future episodes? There is a lot I would like to see you guys talk about.
I also greatly appreciate the fun facts that are brought up throughout the show, such as where Gameforce Boulder is located next to and how convenient the distance is from it.
