I would love to see an episode about Rocket Knight Adventures and its' various sequels. Sparkster would be a perfect candidate for a head-to-head discussion, since it's two different games that share the same title. You could even talk about the new XBL/PSN title which I pretty much know nothing about, so it could be informative even to me!

Before I started collecting games for the Genesis, I had never heard of RKA, so it would be nice to see it get some Game Sack love. It's definitely a Genesis title I think everyone should own.

Other than the unforgivable crime of not dedicating 15 minutes of the episode to Alien Soldier, great episode as usual Joe .

    Gunforce 1 is terrible.

Gunforce 2 is AWESOME. GF2 was developed by the same people that would later form Nazca.

That was a completely freaking awesome video Joe. I'd like to mention for those who do not know that it is an intense amount of testing and retesting videos of Run N Guns because if you don't watch the screen for every single millisecond the video won't show all of the bullets. Also, I appreciated the completely honest realism with the Playstation 1.

Another great episode. I've never heard of Contra Force on the NES. Is it awful? It looks that way.

No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.

Great video, Joe! I love my Run N Gun games, and you had most of my favorites there!

It's slow to begin with, but add in the copious amounts of slowdown, and it's painfully sluggish. Tack on some flicker, some questionable collision detection, and it's a game that's best left forgotten.

And Joe, you guys talked about or showed each individual Contra game (even the horrid C: The Contra Adventure), but didn't give Turrican, Super Turrican, Super Turrican 2 and Mega Turrican their own spots. That struck me as a bit odd. And what of Universal Soldier (the Turrican II butchering by Accolade), Robocop vs Terminator, Target Earth and Atomic Runner on the Genesis for that ending section?

Wow, Hard Corps Uprising looks really great. It even gets Joe's seal of approval, so I'll have to check that out.

It's a shame that your videos don't get that many views, compared to other much worse reviewers. You guys should really advertise beyond sega-16.

I agree with Olls, Hard Corps: Uprising looks great.

And I freakin' LOVE Contra ReBirth.

And as bad as Gunforce is, it's one of my guilty pleasures.

I must say I kind of dig 2D gameplay with 3D graphics, so Shattered Soldier was my kind of game.
Nice thing you showed thedinosaur in Contra:Hard Corps, the absolute low point of the game. This level must have been taken from a cancelled SMS version.

And good thing you only wasted a few seconds on Alien Soldier. :P

What stage from Hard Corps: Uprising was used for the final montage?
