I never realised Cool Spot was from 7up. I feel stupid saying that after seeing all the branding in that vid.

Right. I've seen the ps2 versions of the Taitos, I just didn't word that very well. I meant specifically that I haven't seen the Tecmo collection on any console except for the xbox. It may be available for another, but not that I've seen. It's worth owning at a cheap price for Rygar and Solomon's Key, but it's very underwhelming compared to many of the other comps available. I think I mentioned it because the ps2 had so many comps for it that it's rare to find one from that gen that didn't make it to the console.
Just watched the hacks & homebrews episode, which I believe was the only episode of Game Sack I hadn't yet watched. Wow, those SNES homebrews from CollectorVision look terrific!
The Tecmo collection is indeed Xbox-exclusive. And yeah, it is a bit underwhelming for the time; it has few games. Couldn't they have come up with more stuff to put on that disc?
Oh, and Xbox Taito Legends 2 is Europe-exclusive, it didn't have a US release... but it isn't region-locked, so it should work on a US Xbox (don't have it myself).

^ I recall the X-Box version of Taito 2 mission some games I really wasn't happy were missing. I think those games are the games running off the PS1 Arcade board; G-Darius and Raystorm?
^ What? Cadash and RayForce are exclusive to X-Box? I didn't know that. That sucks. I don't have an X-Box or plan on getting one. At least their work pretty good via MAME, and there's a pretty great port of RayForce for Saturn. But last I checked, MAME emulation for G-Darius and Raystorm aren't quite there yet.
Tecmo Hit Parade is not exclusive to Xbox. The Japanese PS2 release has an added rockin' intro.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."
Wow, Dave really had nothing to say about Cool Spot, shame since it's actually a pretty decent platformer.
^ You're surprised? What do expect Dave also has a day job, maybe has a family, and has to cram playing more videogames then he can handle as a side job?
Someone here commented they like this approach, and the show is doing good. So whatever.
Oh fuck off you miserable cunt.
