It depends on the system. With the Turbografx going from RF to composite makes a DRAMATIC difference, the picture gets much brighter and better looking, but the Genesis? Barely can even tell which is which.

My VA6 looks amazing through composite.

Right. I've seen the ps2 versions of the Taitos, I just didn't word that very well. I meant specifically that I haven't seen the Tecmo collection on any console except for the xbox. It may be available for another, but not that I've seen. It's worth owning at a cheap price for Rygar and Solomon's Key, but it's very underwhelming compared to many of the other comps available. I think I mentioned it because the ps2 had so many comps for it that it's rare to find one from that gen that didn't make it to the console.

Oh, and Xbox Taito Legends 2 is Europe-exclusive, it didn't have a US release... but it isn't region-locked, so it should work on a US Xbox (don't have it myself).

Yeah, PS2 TL2 (US/EU release) has G-Darius, Balloon Bomber, Syvalion, and RayStorm exclusive to that version, while Xbox/PC TL2 (EU only on Xbox) has Bubble Symphony, Pop'n Pop, Cadash, and RayForce as exclusives. Both sets of four games include some good ones.

^ What? Cadash and RayForce are exclusive to X-Box? I didn't know that. That sucks. I don't have an X-Box or plan on getting one. At least their work pretty good via MAME, and there's a pretty great port of RayForce for Saturn. But last I checked, MAME emulation for G-Darius and Raystorm aren't quite there yet.

Disappointed that Darkened Skye didn't get a review, just a teaser -- I'm vaguely curious about that game and it would've been a perfect fit.

I especially wanted Joe to mention why the game was made. It's a ridiculous licensed game that's a giant middle finger to ridiculous licensed games thanks to a drunken producer who didn't even want to make it in the first place. Here's a pretty fair youtube review:

Tecmo Hit Parade is not exclusive to Xbox. The Japanese PS2 release has an added rockin' intro.
