I love the bloopers at the end.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

Even tho not mentioned in the video my fave Trek game of all time is Starfleet Academy on SNES. I don't even know if the game is good but I have so much nostalgia for it. Got it for my Birthday when I got a SNES for my Birthday and along with it and Mario RPG and it was a great day.

    Life?!...What console is that on?

I was disappointed to see that one wasn't mentioned. Have you ever played the 32X version? Is it as good? It's one of the unbeaten games in the beat-'em-all thread and I keep meaning to try it.

Also not mentioned but worthy of such is Star Trek: Strategic Operations Simulator for the Atari 2600. It was the home port of the Star Trek arcade game with the sit-down/environmental version commonly referred to as the "Captain's Chair". The game was produced by Sega in both the arcade and home.

Got a chuckle from the parallax MJ cameo.

Well no, I actually never though he would make an episode based on the MD as I thought he reserved those for consoles that sometimes get less attention on the show, or the minor ones hehe. Great they did it, though everyone is going to miss a lot of games in here. We can see how he cherishes the early games most, as we know.

It always annoys me when I hear them pronounce Ristar, its not pronounced Rister! its RYE STAR, like catcher in the Rye.

The kana of the title suggests that they're closer and it should sound more like wrist, not rye.

EDIT: Apparently the game itself disagrees with me, and agrees with you, but the sample quality is so wretched I'm not sure I can tell.

    Thumbs up

This was a great tribute to the Genesis! When I watched the video yesterday, alot of people in the comments praised the intro sequence. I, myself, thought it was very impressive! Considering all the praise it received from fans, Joe should consider doing a "making of video" of how he achieved all the eye candy! I definitely would watch it!

    Do it Redifer!

Edit: I almost forgot! There was a shot with a Genesis engraved with a raised GameSack logo! Was that a real custom job or just some manner of Gamesack trickery/witchcraft? I just had to ask!
