Or just use a Genesis pad for most games. You can use it for all games if you cut a certain trace on the controller board (don't recall which one).

New episode is up:
I actually got Bucky O'Hare from another member here, along with Mega Turrican. Can't remember who, but it was one of our older members (age-wise, I mean).
Those were all great choices for underrated games. The one game I was surprised about was one I actually own but have yet to try out yet. Having no idea what kind of game "GUN VALKYRIE" was, I picked up CIB copy for $3.00 CAD. Unfortunately this game is not backwards compatible with the Xbox 360 so I'll have to wait until I find an Xbox to play the game on. Still it looks like an excellent title!

hahaha, that one caught me by surprise. I couldn't stop laughing so I had to stop the video because I didn't want to miss anything.![]()
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.
Then we set about developing killer games.

Gun Valkyrie looks pretty fun, and yea, Bucky O'hare is a decent game.
Oh yea! Jumping Flash! That brings back memories I loved that game BITD!
Wow, Jumping Flash looks like a height map game with polygons over it. 32X material if I ever saw it. Great episode, for the Gun Valkyrie love alone. I hear there are later levels where you have to maintain the air boost the entire time and endless enemies fall at you from all directions. I need to play it long enough to see that.
Also, Knuckles Chaotix is seriously underrated, it is a very good game game in the multi-player cooperative Genesis platformer tradition. If Knuckles Chaotix sucks, then so does World of Illusion.

I was disappointed in Gunvalkyrie at first, just because it was supposed to be a Dreamcast game that used the light gun. After a while I warmed up to it.
I think the problem with Chaotix for most people is the very beginning of the game, where you just run around in a repetitive empty level.

Weird, I just watched Rumble in the Bronx right before watching this episode.
Jackie Chan looks like a really good game.
that Jackie Chan game is kickass stuff, I have only played NES game but I got to see what PCE game is all about, it looks awesome![]()

Great episode. Was there a game similar to Jumping Flash for the X68000? I remember someone posting a video of a game that had the same jumping mechanic and shooting, but the polygons were a lot simpler.
EDIT:
Nevermind, found it
