I've only seen the (terrible) ADV English dub, but this movie horrifies me to this day... over ten years after my last viewing. Although, the Metal Sonic fight was pretty well animated for the time.

I have this on VHS video (twas a whole 50p from a market). I might have considered watching it, but my video player recently* seems to have taken up eating videos as its new fun hobby. Still, it takes up space nicely.

(*Thinking about it, I haven't used my video player at all for nearly three years.)

I tried watching it once when I was sick, needless to say I ended up falling asleep because it was so boring.
