Hard to find sealed indeed but it is not a great game, only a correct conversion of the arcade game.
It is worth around $50 for the used Genesis version, but the PAL version is much more expensive (and rare).

mine was genuine brand new sealed Genesis, should deserve higher than USD 43.00, anyway, forsaken it, not interested for others ? I have more cool ones rather than Punisher, retail prices are very negotiable for each

Punisher is the last game I search for my personal collection of nostalgic player.
I am not a collector who want to buy ALL games. I only own the Genesis games
I am used to enjoy to play and those I think GREAT or at least fun/original.
But only time can tell us if a game is good for your taste (not only technically).

once I personally owned Punisher Japan MD, but I' ve lost it many years ago, it was also super really rare hard to find one, I miss it so much

Surely rare because this game had never been release officially in Japan.
Maybe you owned an Asian reproduction/bootleg.

Definitely ain't repro - counterfeit, it's Asian version, the artwork is almost full black, has two Booklet in English & Mandarin, the cart is also Brown color, I bought it New at Peninsula Plaza Singapore

I am curious, if you have pictures of this to show us, it would be great. Never seen this version before.

I am still searching for a Genesis complete version (used). But nobody have it for sale.

This game has gotten crazy expensive. I got a copy with box and manual for $65, and I recently paid $7 for the fake tattoo that came with it. Anyone know if the game came with a registration card? That would be the only thing mine would be missing, unless there was also a poster or something.

The main point is it is one of the best beat em ups on a home console.

Game is expensive because it is fun as hell and slightly rare.
