The game is great but has a few drawbacks (graphics should have been better, jumping mechanics stiff, gets tedious if playing single player on hard or expert)

    What makes it great...

Tons of moves- 2 standard combo's, a crowd control move, a somersault kick, you can grab an enemy jump and throw them or you can jump and slam them into the ground, you can throw grenades, you can use your pistol and lastly all the other weapons (knife, axe, flamethrower, machine gun, assault rifle, pipe and bat)

I still remember renting this game when it first came out since I loved the Arcade version so much

I remember my arcade machine I was playing glitched out and got stuck on the train scene, it just stopped progressing after I beat every enemy on screen.

The genesis version was fun untill I replayed the game on maym.

I find myself leaning towards home ports of arcade beat em ups because there is a set "difficulty". Meaning being able to constantly continue takes any of the stress away. For example I would rather play Final Fight CD instead of the Arcade version because on FFCD you have a set amount of continues and lives making you play smart (the better music is a bonus). Same pretty much goes for all home ports.

I know you could make your own guidelines for arcade beat em ups like how many quarters you needed but it isn't the same. As working hard with a friend and being denied right before the final boss and there is nothing you can do except play the game over again in hopes you do a better job.

as i told you, I've lost it years ago, didn't have any chance to take any photographs for this stuff, I was very careless when my parents relocated our dwelling home

hi TBP, Assault9 is correct, seems an Amazon Marketplace merchant sells CIB for USD 79.99, go ahead, immediately buy it while still available for single left copy, never miss it again, good luck

Well I know the Genesis version is weak compared to the arcade originale one.
Despite of this it is one of the best Beat'em all on the MD/Genesis.
Graphics are indeed a bit too minimalist with few colors used.
But compared to any Double Dragon on the Genny, Punisher is a gem.
I put it just behind Streets of Rage/Golden Axe series.

Concerning the Amazon Marketplace sellers, they should offer an international delivery.
Because it increases the chance to sell their stuff and goods.
And First Class International is a cheaper way. Priority is more expensive.

There's a complete copy that appeared today on Ebay that will ship to the U.S. and Canada with a starting bid of $49.99 plus $5.99 shipping. The manual looks pretty worn though.

the seller has ended up the listing, besides, the manual was too messy, a quick one while it's away, quoting Daltrey

I guess I'm not only one who want The Punisher CIB for genesis.

P.S. Mr.Smith, your guts is STILL mine! As a orange werewolf, I should rip out your guts the most painful way that you'll ever imagine! I guarantee this will happen one day! I should eat it like a king.
