    i got the miniature MD off of EBAY. i found out that it was part of an old series of classic VG console GACHAPON (Capsule Toys)
    in japan some time ago.

    i was lucky that an Anime doll collector, selling some of her collection on the BAY, was also selling this.

    what is also interesting is that the doll in those photos, "Shaorin Shichiri" a Chinese "Moon Spirit" i had ALSO happened to have gotten form that seller,
    and she is almost impossible to find available anywhere in the U.S. as the Anime/Manga series that she hails from "Mamotte Shugogetten"
    was never overly popular or well known in the western hemispheres. hell, she is even fairly hard to find in japan.

    back to that MD; the thing came with a POWER BASE CONVERTER, one controller, and a JPN MD cart (ALIEN SOLDIER)

    the model seems to have been perfectly scaled for 27cm/10.63in. Dolls, such as my Mikuru Asahina; (from the Anime/Manga/Novel series "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya")

    WTF it is actually a miniature MD. Mind = blown.
    Where'd you get the miniature TV and furniture?

    the HD MONITOR was a clipping out of one of the old early-2000's PIONEER ELECTRONICS print catalogs i have.

    the catalog just so happened to have a small picture of their top model of PLASMA DISPLAY at the time,
    a perfect head-on frontal shot with it's attendant remote control, both happening to be in a perfect scale for 27cm. Dolls.

    i built a mock-up of an HDTV body and it's stand out of thin cereal box card stock, as well as a body for the remote, and painted both silver,
    then i glued the catalog clippings to both. i made feet for the Monitor's stand out of steel nuts, which add a nice low-center-of-gravity counter-weight to the model,
    making it impossible to tip over.

    the miniature late-1970's stereo receiver and loudspeakers i found at a rummage sale. it was originally a mini AM radio styled like a miniature all in one stereo system.

    i removed the electronics, as well as the turntable built into the top of the receiver unit,
    to convert it to a straight, proper late-70's monster receiver/floorstanding loudspeaker Hi-Fi system.

    lastly, the dresser that all of that rests upon? a miniature dresser-styled musical jewelery box that i found at a thrift...

    And here you had everybody assuming that it was a life-size doll.

    Chapeau for the visual mindfuck.

    Hey Doll fucker that's a late 60s-early 70s mini stereo receiver. Late 70s didn't do the late 60s McIntosh/Scott/Fisher layout style.

    Tasuke has it laid out the way he wants it, and I happen to think it's cool. Take your hate somewhere else, ThunderForce.

    wow! i see what looks like some fairly rare ones in there!! how long have you been collecting?
    i never knew anyone made a figure of that girl from "POP N' Twin-Bee" bet she was a tough find!! and that's a most lovely KOS-MOS...

    also, i see pretty much a little bit of everything from all the major vintage consoles in your game collection there!!

    here's pretty much everything i've got;

    i don't have much space for figures left, actually, but i'm determined to add these sweeties to my collection;

    they are based off of this Sadamoto art;

    Dude, put him on ignore if he annoys you so much. Insulting him in multiple threads does nothing but flood my inbox with reported posts for personal attacks.

    Your room is so 80s! The spaceship hanging down the ceiling, the walkman, the TDK and BASF tapes...

    I want miniature consoles, those are so neat. I'd make them into fridge magnets
